Ranking the last 3 Slam seasons.

Now that 2014 is concluded as far as Slams go, how do we rate the last 3 seasons with concern to only the Slams?

2012
Djokovic v. Nadal
Nadal v. Djokovic
Federer v. Murray
Murray v. Djokovic

2013
Djokovic v. Murray
Nadal v. Ferrer
Murray v. Djokovic
Nadal v. Djokovic

2014
Wawrinka v. Nadal
Nadal v. Djokovic
Djokovic v. Federer
Cilic v. Nishikori


Of course those are just the Finals but if you can recall the tournaments overall.


My pick would be 2012 with the "Big Four" each netting a Slam title and overall 2 epic five set matches.

I would pick 2013 after that.


So for me it's been declining steadily the last 3 seasons but that's just me.

I think 2013 had the highest quality matches at slams.

AO - Djokovic v Wawrinka
RG - Nadal v Djokovic
WIM - Djokovic v Del Potro
USO - Nadal v Djokovic

Those are the best matches that I think we got out of each of those majors.

This year was a real let down. I think Djokovic v Wawrinka again at AO, but not as good as 2013.

RG there wasn't anything really special that can match 2013 SF.

WIM we had the final which was pretty good match, but still think Djokovic v Del Potro the year before was better.

USO was no real drama filled matches, but at least it was unpredictable.
