Rate my USTA

I feel I am simultaneously too arrogant and too humble to give myself an accurate level then go around stating it to be true (as I suspect many do) and I don't have coach to ask. In fact, people having USTA levels in Sweden isn't very common.

But I'm curious anyway, so I thought the next logical step would be to ask a bunch of strangers on the internet to judge me, lol!

I will never have the time or patience to edit an entire match so I'm just going post a few points everytime I play a match. I'll include bloopers in the spirit of keeping it real.

I'm sure there will plenty who comment "duh, this isn't the way to do this" and my answer to them is: Shut up, you're boring.
This is how I'm doing it, I'll try to keep it updated and fresh.
 
If you were looking to join a USTA league or tournament you should probably self rate 3.5. then based on your initial results you could challenge your rating up or down. NTRP is a results based systems end of the day, I'd say you have lower end 3.5 strokes, but I've lost plenty of matches to people hitting the ball far uglier.

Edit: if this comes off as snobbish. I don't mean it as an insult I'm also a 3.5 with plenty of holes in my own game. Just that it doesn't look as clean as people start to at 4.0.
 
It's hard to tell with just a few points because we need to see how consistent you are. I'm guessing you are pretty consistent though if this didn't come to mind.

My guess would be 3.5 - 4.0(if you are consistent), similar to what chic said.

It's a show of faith that these aren't cherry picked to give me a higher score than I deserve.

Maybe it's worth saying though that I don't completely embarrass myself 1 out of every 4 points played.

I'm going to try and keep it updated (maybe even raise my average score over time;) so follow the thread if you want. I'll playing tomorrow night and shall record.

Yeah, I think I lowballed the last person I rated on here, after giving it some thought. You are probably 4.0, since I told that guy he was 4.0 when he was really probably 4.5.
 
If you are consistent with those shots, you are at 4.0. I'm not going to get into racket drop, waiters tray, take back blah blah, etc. etc. Kudos for being sincere enough to post a video.
