Here you can post some of the memorable shots you've seen throughout the years, and rate them on a scale of 1-10.

I'll start with this IO forehand by Nadal against Kuskushin. I rate it a solid 9. The balance and the small steps he took to adjust to give way to a fantastic "fade away" IO forehand winner, makes the difficulty level very high IMO.

Forget his skywalking skills, and the drop volleys, Pete's no-look backhand winner speaks volumes of his athleticism, court sense and uncanny feel. The maestro deserves a solid 8.5 on this one.

Cool thread, lots of fun.

IMO and Federer's, this is his greatest shot ever.

With this shot, it's much more than just the quality of it, everything is in play-It's championship point Wimbledon, if Federer misses Nadal wins, so the pressure must have been immense. In addition Nadal comes mid court and hammers to Federer's backhand. Does Federer play it safe? Does he just get the ball back into play? Watch!

If you guys watch a lot of hot shots you will see way more counter-lobs than any other particular shot. They shouldn't be ranked as highly.

Just watched that entire highlight after following your link. So depressing to look back on Federer's level of play at that time. Even more depressing to think that his level was higher in 2004-2006 than it was in 2008.
Agreed. Fed was GOATing that match too. After all the drama of Djokovic's family talking crap about him being done and overwith, and the first match they'd played at a major, Federer wanted to send a message. It was a good match and still one of my favorites to watch.

Santoro. Outdoors. Tweener lob to the back corner for an outright winner. He actually turned his head when prepping for the lob to line up the shot. 10/10.

The only shot that even compares is by Dustin Brown who did a similar shot indoors one time.
Yes you mean this one i just posted (even if i prefer shot 2 )

Dustin Brown 10/10 for the second shot starting at 0:50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOXp7AhCAPQ probably the most incredible shot ever (i mean if Federer above is 11/10 then this one is 12/10 at least)
