Ratings question about bump

We have a 7.0 mixed team and we have semis this weekend. City finals would be next weekend if we win. We had two guys who were new to usta and a girl also. They self-rated as 3.5s and 3.0s. They all got bumped to 4.0 and the girl 3.5 mixed exclusive.

For this weekend do we go by the new ratings or the old? If the new then both guys cannot play since we have no 3.0 women. What are the rules here?

I believe the new ratings only apply to 2012 leagues and tournaments.

That's the thing though. The fall mixed season in Atlanta on tennislink says it is the 2012 fall mixed season. The last regular season match was the 28th of October. We had two rounds of playoffs before Thanksgiving and two rounds after. So I am still not sure if they are eligible or not.

Also, we just started the 2012 men's winter league. Both guys are on our 3.5 team. Since they have a 4.0M rating they are still eligible to play men right?

Did a little more digging and found this rule in the USTA league that the coordinator sent out.

4) Once a player is registered on a specific roster
they may play at that level throughout all USTA
state, sectional and national championships even if
their rating increases prior to the championships
unless the person has a dynamic or self-rating
disqualification.

So my guess is that both guys are able to play under their original ratings. Also, I am also guessing they can play under their ratings for the men's season since it started before the ratings were released, and neither has been disqualified I think.

not sure for you but ...

I played in combo doubles and we won states so we are heading to sectionals in March.

We were informed that a single bump does not matter, however if anyone is double bumped they have to play up one level

so if you have two 3.0s and one gets bumped to 3.5 and the other to 4.0 then the 3.5 can still play as a 3.0 but the 4.0 has to play as a 3.5
