Has anyone tried both versions of 002 TOUR?
    Any comparisons?
I like the feeling of 002TOUR SL but with its weight i strungle to generate head speed. I like 001 MP too but seems a littlebit light when playing with great hiters. So i think that 002 Tour UL could have the ideal combination.

When i demoed this racquet i played with the SL version. I liked the feel of it but it seemed really heavy. I decided to take a chance and just buy the UL version thinking it would be a tad lighter. I'm glad i did. The UL is noticeably lighter than the SL but is much easier to swing in my opinion. There's also more control in the UL surprisingly. The SL was pretty powerful. Both great sticks, but be aware that the UL plays much lighter than the SL.

The nice thing about SL is that you can return big hiters easy. It's very solid. The downside for me is the weight and the power is a littlebit more that i prefer. Does the UL keep Sl's good things? Or it plays more like 001MP?

I believe the UL is slightly lighter than the 001 MP (?).

Yeap, but the question is: it plays like 001MP or more like the SL.
if it plays like 001Mp there is no reason to choose UL

As an aside, I have no idea why Yonex gives both models the "002" designation. They're so different from one another that they should be 2 completely different models, rather than 002 and 002 Tour.

I used the 001 mp for a while, then i switched to the 002 tour ul. There is quite a difference in the 2 racquets. Both are nice sticks, but the 001 is a little hard on the arm, while the 002 tour ul is very comfy.

The 002 is a better all around racquet to me, more solid, better power with good control+ just a great feeling racquet.I could use all poly job with this racquet, but the 001 would cause pain with poly.

We are not talking about the non-tour model here.
We are talking about the 002 TOUR. There are 2 specifications on this model. Grips 1,2 are UltraLight (a.k.a UL) and 3,4,5 are SuperLight (a.k.a. SL)

    >>> Louis netman >>> Yours is SL

    >>> tim >>> thanks. Is what i thought for this stick.
