Re-releasing the Nike Air Trainer 1???

I was at an athletic shop at the mall recently and noticed the original Nike Air Trainers have been re-released in the same colors as the ones McEnroe and Wilander wore in the mid-80s. Both hightop and lowtop versions. I'm wondering if there's any chance Tennis-Warehouse may perhaps get these in stock??

they were re-released in 1994 and again in 2002. they are also horribly uncomfortable

Not sure about the retro - and it was one of my favorite shoes - but Nike has updated them with the "air zoom" sole:

Actually, that was the pair I saw in the high-top version at the mall. The price-tag seems a bit too hefty though($110?). But I wonder if these are a little more modern in the cushioning and shoe technology. I would definitely buy these if they were in the $80-90 category. They'll probably have these shoes on sale in a few months.

These shoes were so cool back in the day. I still remember mcenroe and wilander wearing these.

They are always be re-released, but not in the original great colors

I loved the originals. The updated version looks good. I am a sucker for reissues. I wear the Huaraches for BBall and love them.

We have carried the Air Trainer in the past in various colors, but do not have plans to bring in this shoe again.
