Hello everybody,

I know that Head measures headsizes differently than others manufacturers (Head measures WITH frame). I was wondering, what real headsizes are for these racquets:

1. Head YOUTEK IG Speed 18x20
2. Head YOUTEK Radical Midplus
3. Head YOUTEK Radical Pro
4. Head YOUTEK Prestige Midplus
5. Head YOUTEK Prestige Pro
6. Head YOUTEK Prestige Mid
7. Head YOUTEK IG Speed 16x19
8. Head YOUTEK IG Speed 300

Regards :)

2. YTK Rad MP: 95sqin

4. YTK Prestige MP: 95sqin

5. YTK Prestige Pro: 95sqin

6 YTK Prestige Mid: 90sqin or 89.5sqin according to some.

The rest are as advertised as far as I know.

Thank you very much HiroProtagonist for that information. You helped me a lot!

Hiro is right but it's been established here, complete with the math, that the reason has nothing to do with how they measure the racquets but more how they were once marketed in metrics.

Since Djokovic's racquet underneath the paintjob is based on a Radical MP mold, that means he's really playing with a 95 sq. in. racquet. No wonder he keeps kicking Nadal's butt! He uses a SMALLER racquet! :)

Same reason Federer beat Djokovic and almost beat him again. Federer uses a smaller 90 sq. in. racquet!

Imagine what Murray would do to Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer with an 85 sq. in. racquet! LOL

well, why can't Murray beat Nadal with the same headsize, and why did it take till this year for djokovic to start beating Nadal?

Hint: it's the player, not the racquet

Because since Murray is not as good of a player as Djokovic, he needs to use a smaller racquet than Djokovic to gain an added advantage. :)

well, by that logic, I should be using a 50" headsize so I can be a pro.. but having played with standard size racquets, I know full well the fallacy in thinking that way..

Sampras used a racquet that was 25 sq. in. smaller than Agassi's. Did you ever see Sampras lose to Agassi at Wimbledon or the US Open in all the many times they've played there? :)
