Recommendations for a Flexy Racket

I am looking for a racket with a flex of 63 or less(arm friendly is important to me)that has a good blend of power and control. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

BTW my Fischer mag tour just does not have enough pop. I really have to exert so much effort to compete.

I would look to the Volkl C10, DNX10 Mid, Dunlop 200G, 300G, ProKennex Redondo, or maybe a racket which I find real intersting, the Gamma G325.

To get more pop you might want to first try tweaking the string type and tension first.

I am looking in the 11-11.5 oz weight range, and 95-100 headsize. I actually just hit with my friends n blade 98, and I have it for the weekend. This is a great racket. I have a match tonight, and I think I will give it a go with it.

I can't find any 300gs around anymore.

But yeah, thats a good list, add the mspeed 98, and maybe the lm prestige (flexy).

Flexpoint Radical Tour is 100 sq in and 58 felx 12 ounce racquet that is arm friendly especially with NXT.

Flexy racquet, Redondo would be a great choice but I can't guarantee that you will find the pop that you are missing. String choice is just as important as racquet choice.

I have a Fischer M Speed (98 headsize) and have not had a problem with power. Try Luxilon Alu Power in the mains at around 50lbs, with synthetic gut in the crosses around 55 (or all Luxilon if you have a tough arm). Lots of people have said the Fischer is best strung with tensions towards the bottom of the recommended range.

I find the weight in the racquet really takes it through the ball. You could try adding a bit of lead tape to the top of the head for more punch.

Any similarly flexy racquet (Redondo) will have similar power. Babolats, Yonex and Wilson K95 may give more power but are stiffer.

Redondo is very fexlible for arm friendly that never give me Tennis Elbow. I even put lead tapes at 3 and 9 to make an even balance racquet and it dosen't hurt it. Wilson PS Tour 90 killed it!

Here are three that are vary flexy (the first two) or somewhat flexy with superb feel.
1. Pro Kennex Redondo Type C MP 98"
2. Gamma 310 (I think, might be 325), 95"
4. Dunlop Aerogel 200 95"
You could not go wrong trying any one of these, and they all appear to have better than average QC--superb in Dunlop's case. Good luck.

Probably the flexible racquet out there is the Pro Supex Uniflex (I will be doing a write-up/review on it sometime before the end of the week). The racquet felt like a 54 flex.

Absent that, you might consider the following:

Pro Kennex Redondo MP
Gamma 7.0
Volkl c10
Fischer Pro1

I tried the Mag Tour but sold it because it had no power. I am now playing with the RQis 1 Tour. Real nice Fischer like feel with enough power. Try it. The RDS 003 is harsh in comparison.

The Donnay Pro 1 International (midplus) is pretty comfortable and responsive. Just too bad it's statically a bit heavier than you'd prefer.

A regular Head Flexpoint Radical fits the description you were asking for

11.0 to 11.5 oz
<63 flex

And it has plenty of pop. But i usually reccomend it for flatter hitters than people who hit with loads of topspin. So if you hit relatively flat, i would reccomend it to you.

Oh and i just noticed that more than 50% of 16 and 18 girls superchamps in texas use the FXP radical.
