after all this years, borrowing this topic.
I came back to ProStaff RG97A, and the time for new string is coming up. currently Signum Pro Hyperion string is in the frame, but I feel it's lacking a bit in the spin department ... one thing is sure, I will drop tension from 25/24kg for a kg (to 24/23kg). in my other Wilson frame (older Wilson Ceramic FP) I have Signum Pro Tornado (at 25/24) and it plays great. is ProStaff sensitive to string choice?

Alu Power in the low to mid 40's. Everything else is just 2nd best. But prepare to tear out and restring every 4 hours or so for optimal play. 2nd on my list would be Tour Bite 1.20 in the low 40's. But again, restring every 4 or 5 hours of play.
thx, but just too much complication then. that means restringing racket every week, which is way too much. except if I win the lottery.
I will stay with Signum Pro, will try Tornado as it plays nicely on other rackets.
