Record Attendance At Australian Open.

Many fans are whining about the doping scandals, which they fear will destroy the sport.
But attendance in Melbourne is breaking all records as fans flock to see The Djoker, Sinner, Alcaraz and Fonseca.
Tennis is doing just fine thank you very much.

Given the vulgarly raucous nature of the crowds, there needs to be a more careful selection of the crowd based on criteria other than money.

There is a tourist organisation that takes fans on tour for a fee. They are the ones in the funny outfits who call themselves "Dundees" this year.

The rest of the crowd takes their cue from the LCD.

Who make up these organized mobs?

Next to The GOAT Djoker and Sincaraz, Fonseca is the biggest attraction in Melbourne right now.

It is what it it is.
Fonseca hype is through the roof. he is given 7th best odds to win this tournament now LOL

This is so ridiculous. The guy is 18 years old and has never played BO5 events in his career. Now people have hyped him to the moon and oddsmakers are balancing out based on bets placed.

They probably just got out of COVID lockdown over there LOL. So they are a little antsy. I’m sure people are going to show up. Djoker is the last of this big 3 and there won’t be too many chances to see him live again. We will see how they carry it when he’s gone though. Can sinner or alcaraz keep their nose clean and/or stay healthy? That remains to be seen. Top players are now getting busted left and right

In all fairness, Rune, Rublev, Rudd, Zed,Fritz, Tiafoe, Tsitsipas, Berrytini and so many others have miserably failed to join Sinner and Alcaraz to form the new Big Three.

It is a pathetic situation.

At this point, Fonseca stands as good chance as anybody else. He welcomes the pressure. He has no fear. He seems to raise his level in tiebreakers.

Talk Tennis Warehouse has a well-known member who regularly rants about Sinner "destroying" tennis.

Yes, it is ridiculous. Fonesca is essentially a nobody and lacks any strong gifts. Anyone one or group hyping him is motivated by a feeble agenda.

There's record attendance because so many people want to witness Djokovic win slam# 25 and AO title #11. A Djokovic-Sinner final would break viewership records. Djokovic will win and prove that you don't need massage cream to be the best.
