Weird, in another Poll the Redondo has twice the amount of votes than the PC 600, or something like that I think.

OK, OK, I've decided to put in something here. Not giving you the scores. These comments are my observation only, please.

The Redondo's mix of the PC600 & the X1.

The PC600, to me, felt too sluggish but delivers the goods very well. I don't think I need to describe in long terms about the goods of this stick. It's good, but I've got to have two (or three?) full tanks of energy to play it.

Did not have extensive play with the X1. What I'm going to say here is from my 1+ hour experience with it.

The X1 was (is?) very, very nimble. Certainly a S&V stick. However, for me, the shots lacked the goods to keep my opponent scrambling. My serves with the X1 were returned with forehand smashes. My hitting partner said there weren't enough mass in the shots, even the groundies. The racket felt a bit too light for my taste in stock form. (For me, it may be better if weighted up a bit. But it was a borrowed racket so I can't mod it.)

So, I'm settled with the Redondo, which has the goods of the PC600 & the X1. Got enough mass in the racket to give heavy shots, yet nimble & stable enough at the net. Serves easy with good placement with enough power. Doesn't drain my energy for my usual 2-hour play. (Which is good. I'm left with enough energy to carry my beer mug around after play :) )

I'd say I'm not able enough to use the Redondo to it's full potential. I think in really good hands the racket can be "the ultimate weapon" on the court. (That's what PK wrote on the beam of the old BlackAce.)

Cheers!
