Reducing grip size

Hi everyone, I was recently able to get a Wilson pro staff blx 90 for around £50 but it was a size 4 and I take a size 3. I want to reduced the grip size and I know I can buy pallets from tennis warehouse but none of them are Wilson ones. Would a Head, Volkl or Pacific pallet fit my racket?
Thanks, QF

I'm definitely not an expert in the area but...

From my limited experience, Wilson grips are molded on and not on a pallet system.

You can try to use the thinnest replacement grip available to reduce your grip size by one. I personally like Kimony Techni leather which is 0.8mm in thickness if I remember correctly. It is much lighter than normal leather grips so balance will change a bit. A little lead on the handle or putty in the buttcap will fix that right up though.

Thanks for the advice :) , I'll try using the thinner grip before any attempting any other changes. I usually use a size 3 with a tourna overgrip so my usual size isn't very far away from being a 4 anyway. I am not planning to switch to the 90 and I only bought it for fun as it was pretty cheap, so it's not super important how it feels compared to my other rackets.

You can also try putting double overgrip (of a thicker, softer type, like Wilson overgrips) with no basic grip. It will reduce at least half a grip size.
But since it will reduce the weight at the handle and influence balance, I suggest putting some lead or blue tac or similar for balance, stability and comfort.

I'll definitely look into this as an option :)

Thanks to everyone that has replied, I'm going to try all the methods suggested and I'll report back here once I've tested them and found which works best :)

Replace basic grip with Tourna replacement grip which is very thin and use Tourna Original OG or Babolat VS original OG.
