Relax everyone , this just got started

You do realize Sinner won more total points than Carlos in his RG loss and more points than Medvedev in his WB loss. I think this guy isn’t far from a big breakthrough. I think he wins the USO
It's not about how many points you win, but which points you win.

So he never had that kind of dominance that Sinner showed?
His second and third season he won more titles, more masters, and one slam each, check what sinner did in his first few seasons, and now that he is 23, this is all he is capable of, as i said, hes clearly inferior, wait to see the damage Alcaraz is gonna do to the tour at 23 lol, we can be talking about CYGS

I have him on ignore. I want to see Sinner beat shorty in the ground at USO.
I dont blame you, i have been almost as annoying as you after these sinner loses as you were overconfidently asking how many sets was sinner gonna lose this wimbledon lol, sorry but you deserved It and you know it

@NeutralFan @TheGoldenEra1990’s Sinner is probably vomiting on the courts right now. Our boy will bring glory at the USO. It’s his.

It will play out like the Nadal/djokovic rivalry did. Carlos like Nadal the early bloomer and then sinner figures it out physically and mentally and blows by him like Djoker did to Nadal and leave him in the dust People forget Djoker didn’t even really hit his stride until 24 years of age.

Players peak at different stages. I would say we have seen close to the best Carlos has to offer already. Sinner has a lot he can improve on with a greater upside

Yup Sinner is improving and plays day in day out higher tennis. Once he works on that stamina, it’s over for Carlos. Sinner is going to be the scourge for Alcaraz

Except Alcaraz Game is nothing like Nadal and definetly not restricted to Clay, It Will play out more like fed VS djoker if fed had been younger instead of older, and sinner still has to prove he can reach that level, so so far It doesnt look very good for sinner in this rivalry

Nadal was great on every surface. I would say he was also a lot better on hards and grass than Carlos is

Alcaraz is more talented than Sinner though, I wouldn't necessarily say Nadal is more talented than Djokovic though. Also, Alcaraz is the younger one. He has achieved more at 21 than Sinner at 23

That's fair but that's a bit of an insult to Djokovic and I'm no Djokovic guy. Young Djokovic was still several levels more talented than Sinner and I don't think Sinner will ever reach that level to make this Djokovic/Nadal comparison, though of course no one truly knows.

Sinner lucked at at AO with an even worse Novak than today and gassed out Med.... Sinner fans should be thankful for the free slam. Whereas Carlos over here doesn't need the stars aligned for him to get a slam obviously as he just keeps winning them and at an even younger age. Phenom indeed.

Not in the same tier.

Tennis is very cruel. The margins are minuscule. To Sinner’s credit, despite getting injured during the clay season, then getting some kind of stomach bug at Wimbledon, he’s still a very impressive 62-6 since Beijing. His .912 winning pct since that time leads the pack. This rivalry will get extremely interesting if Sinner can bag the USO. I don’t have a favorite between the two. I like both of them equally. I just want an epic rivalry between two players that are close in age. That said, I will be rooting for Sinner to bag the USO. I’d like Sinner to close the gap here. But if Alcaraz wins, I won’t feel bad. I ultimately want both of them to stay healthy for as long as possible.

Man, it feels nice to like two players equally. Rooting only for Federer made it tough at times. Tennis is more interesting have 3 greats to root for. And during my 45 years of watching tennis, I only that opportunity once(Sampras and Agassi).

Let’s go Sinneraz!

First of all Congratulations to Teeth fans

Sinner is a great player, and with some improvements will cause a lot of trouble for Alcaraz. But at the moment he has other things to do, like hanging out with kalimskaya.

I can't tell if this dude is trolling or he really is just this clueless??? "Neutral" you asked when Alcaraz was as dominant as Sinner. Please tell me you haven't forgotten Alcaraz's run to start 2023 gaining the #1 ranking back again?? Or to end 2022 becoming the youngest #1 ever? Or the past two slams now taking him to 4 slams the youngest ever player to do so along with Borg? And if he wins the US open more than likely is #1 again? Yes Sinner started the year well but right now the best player on the planet is Alcaraz.

You always start a debate with pointless hypertheticals, but that argument can literally be made for anyone on tour. Carlos has been injured a bunch too and wasn't even playing his best level and still beat Sinner at the French open and at Indian wells.

Copium at an all time high here lol.

Sinner fans still be believing in the Easter Bunny.

Just imagine thigs do not go the way you think. Same is has happened in the "Wimbledon will be Sinners' playground not Carlos'" or in the "Alcaraz will not win Wimbledon".

The thread would age so finely. So much.

Think he knows. Just wants this thread bumped.

Sinner fanboys and chronic Alcaraz haters are the most asinine bunch on this forum.

Their trolling had some substance before, when Alcaraz had a bit of a hard 6 months, but now that things have gone back to where they should even they have a hard time doing quality trolling, its just too distant from reality to compare Alcaraz and sinner talent wise, that said, i expect sinner to step It up a bit now

the biggest problem of carlos is patience and selection of shots, which would relatively not take very long to solve

on the other hand, sinner is clean ball hitter, to a certain extent, even more powerful than djoker but at this moment, he is not as complete as carlos, which means it is currently unlikely that sinner can dominate carlos

First of all Congratulations to Teeth fans , I don't wanna crash their party but I am here to tell them how he's not the lone horse in the race , there's a finer horse in the race ready to catch up with him and it's only a matter of time. Yeah we are talking about the Sinner , even with 4 slams Carlos never showed the kind of dominance that Sinner showed ( Sinner was almost unbeaten for months and drubbing everyone in his route ) he got unlucky with Madrid injury and that derailed his FO campaign. Imagine what Sinner can do to Carlos at his favourite surface should they meet when it took Carlos 5 sets to beat Sinner at FO( his worst slam) it's only a matter of time Sinner work out his injury problem . If not for his unfortunate injuries today we would have been talking about him heading towards CYGE in NY. He will be back, he's there to dominate and he will like he did after start of season.

Teeth fans.....smh

Let's see how USO folds. If Sinner does actually win then they are 2-2 in slams for the year. Then Sinner fans can maybe brag.

I think Sinner is going to bounce back strong. He is currently the best hard court player in the world, and those courts suit his ball striking a lot.

We are not gonna give up on Sinner
Nobodies saying you should give up on Sinner hes a solid player. But you keep saying Sinner is better than him without any metrics to back it up. I do think Sinner will push Alcaraz and vice versa. But you keep saying silly things like Carlos just got lucky when anyone with any amount of reasonable intelligence can see that's nonsense. Carlos at his best right now beats anyone.

I'm al for the rivalry, but there are, like, 100 other players in any given year wanting to beat them, and to date Alcaraz has been able to capitalize at important junctures to get the titles. Case in point, Sinner not winning Wimbledon, though I think he would have made it to Alcz had he not gotten sick against Med. But I still would have had Alcz nudging Sinner on grass this year. Overall HC's I think Sinner might have the slightest edge for chance, but I think clay and grass edge towards Alcaraz. Which makes for a wonderful rivalry.

Again though, lots of outliers ready to play the spoiler as the new era starts in the dusk of Fedal.
