Would you want one? (Collectors item or for play)

I do know Head released a 25th anniversary back in 2018, but it was the wrong Head/Prostock Code by using the Ti.Radical OS mold but not sure about the layup itself. Anyway since the recent release of the Prestige Classic 2.0, would players/collectors want Head to release this frame with the original mold and specs? It would be nice to include the 280 but Head already released the Pro Tour 2.0 back then.

By the time they do this, or if they ever do, I can’t imagine the price considering how much they want for the PC 2.0 since it’s mostly nostalgia people are buying it for.

I think where I'd draw the line is if they released a Liquidmetal Radical MP as part of the Legacy Collection, lol. and I love that racquet. it's undergone so many runs that I would be shocked if it was over 200 bucks unless it was close to the original composition

it's encouraging they can make a classic feeling racquet and price it competitively given secrecy and IP protections and whatnot. I think we all (holics, competitors, Head, Head obssessives, etc.) would benefit if Legacy Collection turns into a Wilson Pro Labs type deal

Right, but at the same time some people would probably want to play with the re-release frame too. Win or lose on both sides imo

I’d add the OG Speed pro to this list as well. But I’d like to see that happen. Same goes for Babolat to make the VS or Origin line as their own Legacy Collection

It's nice that Head is offering these golden Classics..
It provides an opportunity for some to relive their memories while offering younger generations a taste of the past..
The Ti Radicals would be something that I would love to see.

I paid the same price for my PC 2.0’s as my other head frames. Also I play mine in matches and not just nostalgia and my 18 year old son bought two to play as well.

That radical os limited Ty used the Wrong mold and Wrong material. Super high sw and cheap paint and flimsy grommet. Being a fan of the old Agassi radical os I bought one of those reissue used and had to sell it at a loss.
I can no longer trust head’s new paintjob sticks. They have so many proven modes including the djokovic radical yet they refused to release any.

The PC 2.0 is legitimately good, albeit quite expensive; it really does feel like the Prestige Classic but with more penetrating power, so Head did an awesome job. Your beef with Head and the situation with Djokovic’s racquet may be justifiable, but the fact is no other major manufacturer is any more honest to the consumer. It’s all shades of gray because profit ultimately reigns supreme. Heck, even Yonex makes their top players like Stan say how great the new Percept line is and how much the new tech benefits their game, even though we all know it’s just a paint job.
