Replacement for Adidas Court Jam Control

I’ve been playing with the original Courtjam Control until now. Bought multiple pairs at the time.

I am not a fan of the newer design. Also, I try to avoid white or light colored shoes.

I’ve tried Yonex Eclipsion 4, but my feet hurt after every session. It felt like periods of standing still while waiting for points to start caused pain. Also, it felt like the toe box didn’t give enough room.

I also tried K Swiss Hypercourt Supreme 2 and I felt the need for a little more room in the toe box.

Factors important to me:

Room in toe box
Stability
Durability

I don’t need to get the most expensive shoe like the Barricade 13, but I would like something that I can wear without feeling like I’m going to be injured.

The only color I want would be the dark blue. Maybe if there is a deep discount black/orange, I’d consider it.

For my past four shoes I've been wearing Courtjam Bounce and then the Control. They've been durable and have a wide toe box. Thinking of trying the Defiant Speed 2 (on sale). Anyone know if they have a toe box similar to the Courtjams?
I tried the Wilson but it felt too high and soft at the heel. I felt that the Barricade could use a little more room in the toe box.
I wear a 9 with one sock. Should I move up a half size if I decide to wear two socks?

If my memory serves me, the toe box of Defiant Speed is wide, but slightly lower compared to Courtjams.
