Tried the Solution Speed 3 and the Gel Court FF. The Speed 2's were the perfect shoe in my opinion, light, low to the ground, not too much plastic and a good amount of support. Anyone have any suggestions for a replacement as I cannot seem to find them ANYWHERE.
The Babolat Jets may work for you. They are low to the ground, offer good support, and the only plastic is the heal counter. Last year's Jets are on sale although outsole does not last long. This year's Jets have the outsole durability of Vapors, but there is not nearly as much cushioning underfoot as Asics.Tried the Solution Speed 3 and the Gel Court FF. The FF's hurt at the top of my foot. Hard to explain and I'm not using the proper medical terms. But the top of your foot, where you lace your sneakers hurt, even when I didn't have the laces tied. And it was not because they were sized too small because the rest of the sneakers was actually very roomy. Just me two cents. I wish equipment/sneaker manufacturers didn't have to change the product every year. By the time you realize you really like something, they aren't selling them anymore.I am interested to hear your views on the Gel Court FFs. I also loved my Speed 2s and have been disappointed in the Speed 3s I have worn as a replacement. I have tried Vapor Tours and Ubersonics (not the 2s) and have not found a replacement for my fave.
And the sizing for these sneakers is way off, even from other Asics. I was swimming in my normal Asics size. So if you do get them, order a half size smaller but then that might affect how the boot/sock inside fits your foot. And the laces aren't very good, very flat. The FF's hurt at the top of my foot. I keep hearing good things about the Babalot Jets, the 2016's not the 2017's. Question, how do I figure out which ones are the 16's?The Babolat Jets may work for you. Like everyone else, I'd be interested in your thoughts on the Gel Court FFs. Can you be specific about your likes/dislikes?
The 2016 Jets are all on sale on this website. They come in grey/blue/yellow, grey/yellow, grey/red, and white/blue colorways. They are located towards the bottom of the Babolat shoe page.I keep hearing good things about the Babalot Jets, the 2016's not the 2017's. Question, how do I figure out which ones are the 16's?
