My 17 y.o. daughter is using two Yonex Ultimum RQ 1000s that I bought from TW a few years ago and they're starting to show some wear. They're also a pain to restring 'cause the grommets are breaking and I can't find new ones. Can anyone recommend a fairly light, 27 in., stiff, head light, racquet maybe 110ish we can consider? I've looked at quite a few specs and nothing has really clicked yet. Thanks.

You could call up the guys from the sport center in the ******* to see if they have the grommets. Also, send an email to TW to see if they have any in stock.

If you go to Tennis-warehouse.com, you can view tennis raquets by weight or size. I just demoed a Yonex RQis1 Tour and found it to be very light and arm friendly. It's only 95 inches though. Their demo program is great. You can get up to 4 raquets at a time and try them for a week. Everybody has such different opinions that the only way to know which one is best for you, or your daughter in this case, is to try it before you buy. I also have a Wilson K Factor KBlade Team 104 (Same as Williams sisters use). It is light and has a good balance between power and control.
