I always in asia stringing for challenger tour and futures tournament , now i can not use this machine serve for the game !! i have contacted babolat china agent, quoted a price and method for the repairs just a joke!!!any else , i want know how about the price of babolat star5 clamps !

I think I understand your problem on the early Star5 They had that problem down in Asia where it is hot and humid. The brake pads were breaking up due to the humidity. Go to a auto brake shop and have them make up new pads. If my memory is right the outer diameter is 3 1/2 inches, the thickness is 1/8 inch. Can't remember the inner diameter. You can measure the "cup" they sit in. Make sure you get the thickness correct. You will find it will be far superior to when your machine was brand new. Hope this helps. What year was the machine make?

i am not in america now !! contact only be done by phone? email OK?
That's the number for our US subsidiary. Outside of the US, you would go through your local Babolat representative or the global headquarters. It sounds like you've reached out to your local representative already. Let me know if you have further questions.

The problem of brake pads has been solved by myself. Unfortunately, now the threader has reported an error SL427 ER:4. How can I solve this problem? In China, the Babolat offical are not interested in my problem.

You can do what I did when I got my Star 5 and just buy a refurbished tension module. Not the cheapest fix but it was quick and easy.
