Replacing Prince Textreme Warrior 100...

Looking to try something new as I've been using the Warrior for several years now. I have a total of 6-7 grams added at 3 and 9.

I'd like something a bit heavier so I don't have to customize but not sure if that will be possible. I'd like to stick to 100 sq in. and ideally I'd like 16x19 for maybe a bit more control over the 16x18 of the Warrior.

Checking out:

Weight is one thing, swingweight is another

I will focus on swingweight, typically the weight might also be in your ballpark once the sw is taken care of.

6-7g is 12-14SW added to stock racquet.

The Textreme Warrior 100 has 320sw average so you need something with 332-334sw average (im using racquetfinder.com) - I would aim for 330 and use 1-12g or lead tape to do the final tuning.

BUT if you warrior was only 310sw then all the calculations will be thrown off. See if you can find a shop that can measure swingweight for either free or a small fee. And then decide your target swingweight.

Then pay MRT fees and get a racquet in the ballpark

You can try Ezone 98, which due to isometric head shape plays a lot like 100

Prince Tour 100 is a good option

Most 100 sq.in. frames are 300g, but some have heftier SW. This may work for you as well. Check Ezone 100 maybe. You can always add a leather grip if you are reluctant to get anything under the buttcap.

I personally like Speed Pro, and that can be an option if you are open to try string options. Soft shaped thin poly may open the stringbed enough to give good launch angle even for you moving from 16/18

I am quite intrigued by the Yonex EZONE 98 Tour. 315g and 4pt HL sounds nice...

Beyond your own requirements (sticking with a 100", more controlled string pattern, minimal or zero customizing required), here are some other things to keep in mind:
- Beam Width: Considering what you're used to, I would keep beam thickness >=22mm
- Static Weight: with 6-7g of lead added, you're at 305-310g unstrung static weight
- Swing Weight: as @gold325 said, with 6-7g at 9&3, you're probably swinging 330-335sw right now
- Balance: presuming you haven't added any handle weight other than an over grip, the strung balance is probably more like 3-5pts head-light strung (instead of 6pts)
- Flex/Feel: you're coming from a 66RA (moderately stiff) frame with little dampening/muting "tech", so you probably want frames with direct feel, mid-upper 60's RA

Putting all of the above into RacquetFinder, here's what you get worth looking at:
- Head Auxetic Speed Pro (link) - 310g, 100", 18x20, 23mm constant beam, 62RA, 6pts HL strung, 326 swing weight strung -- w/ 2g lead @ 12 for a 332sw
- Prince 2019 Textreme Tour 100P (link) - 305g, 100", 18x20, 20/23/22mm, 66RA, 7pts HL strung, 324sw -- w/ 3g lead @ 12 for a 333sw
- ProKennex Ki 10 (link) - 305g, 100", 16x19, 24mm beam, 68RA stiffness, 4pts HL, 331sw
- Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 100 v14 (link) - 305g, 100", 16x19, 22.5mm, 65RA, 5pts HL, 326sw -- w/ 2g lead @ 12 for a 332sw
- Yonex EZone 98 Tour (link) - 315g, 98", 16x19, 19.5/24.5/23.5mm, 64RA, 4pts HL, 332sw

The Ki 10 will probably give you the most power with the least effort, still with decent control, the Six.One 100 will need just a bit of customization (2g of lead at 12), but will be a nice middle ground of control and power, and the EZ98 Tour, despite being a 98, is a Yonex and so the isometric shape will play more like a conventional 100, although it will be a bit harder to wield and is really a higher-level stick, but if you can keep racquet head speed up and your endurance is good enough, it could provide the best power with the best control. I also added the Speed Pro and outgoing 2019 TT100P, both needing 2-3g lead at 12, but very nice and controlled 100's with super uniform, consistent string beds.

If you demo, try and get all with the same type of string you currently have in your Textreme Warrior -- either multi or poly -- or cut the demo string in each and have them strung locally with the same string that's in your Warrior, at as close a dynamic tension as possible (your stringer will know what that means). Only with equalized string setups will you be able to make an accurate comparison of each frame to one another.

Hope that helps. Any questions, feel free.

MRT fees?

MRT is basically the following

Most tennis stores let you pay a little extra for them to check their racquets and give you one at your target specs.

Example I had an under spec Gravity Tour @ 318sw with 1.20string. Took it to my local store. They found a match from their stock for $10.

The I would order a demo 3-pack of all of the above and have a playoff. Good points. I agree about the beam width. I'm a 4.5 player but I'm on the smaller side so I need a raquet that has some power built in. I think the Wilson you mentioned might be a good option with a little weight added at 12 like you say. Those have some weight built in at 3 and 9 for stability I think? The 3 and 9 weight on the Warrior makes it a lot more stable...

@myke232 - Very welcome. I also went back in and included the Speed Pro and outgoing 2019 TT100P, both with weight added at 12, as very nice 18x20 100" options. But both will be on the slightly lower-powered side, if you really need to emphasize that.

Since you're a 4.5 but on the smaller side wanting power, have you considered perhaps an extended length stick? Something like an EZone 98+ (stock) or Solinco Blackout 300 XTD (with 1-2g lead at 12) would give you roughly the same hitting power at the EZ98 Tour, but .5" more reach, and all at a lighter static weight for less exhuastion. Something to think about, perhaps.

I also wouldn't sleep on ProKennex, seriously.
