DESIGN—9.5/10
First part of the bag that I will review would be its looks. Looks are important to some people and not so important to others, to me looks are important. The reason I bought this bag was because it matched my M-Fil 300’s and it looked great! The first thing that caught my eye was the color of the bag, the red and silver with the blue lining looked great! Since I use Tourna Grip on my M-Fil 300’s the blue lines were perfect, matched very well with my racquets. The bag is covered with the name DUNLOP and the DUNLOP logo; you can see DUNLOP on the side, top, handle, straps and also at the bottom of the bag. On the right side of the bag it says “INTERNATIONAL TOUR TEAM” There are also 2 DUNLOP logo’s on the front of the bag (left and right side). The design of the bag is unique; they used different angles to make the bag more appealing. The colors on the bag aren’t bright at all; they are just perfect for the eye, not too bright and not too dark. The red covers most of the bag and bordering the red is blue, which looks great in my opinion! Very nice touch and the colors blend in perfectly; around surrounding the blue they put silver, which is obvious because it matches the M-Fil 300 which was the goal of the bag. For each Zipper they have 2 bronze colored pullers with the name DUNLOP embedded, it’s a very nice touch. The handle has black straps on each side of the middle compartment; there is a red DUNLOP carrier that can be buttoned to join both straps so you can carry it just like a suitcase. One of my favorite parts of the bag would be the backpack straps. They look very good and are super comfortable! They don’t put much stress on your shoulders no matter how many things you put in the bag. The straps are red with the DUNLOP sign and behind the straps it’s black.
SIZE—9/10
Next is the size of the bag, I was actually surprised when the bag arrived. I thought the bag would be really big, I mean big. Before I bought the bag I had a Wilson Tour 5 Red 6-pack bag. Once I got the bag I put both my Wilson and DUNLOP bags side to side. I was surprised to see that the DUNLOP bag was only around 2-3 inches wider and the Wilson bag was about half an inch bigger in height. Seeing that I thought that the DUNLOP bag wouldn’t be able to hold much stuff in the compartments but, that’s a different section. I’ll talk about that later. Anyways, the size of the bag isn’t that big, which is good if you are thinking about carrying it around or sticking it inside a locker. The dimensions of the bag are L30” x H13” x D14” (courtesy of TW). When I added some stuff inside the bag compartments such as racquets, clothes, drinks, food, etc. The bag doesn’t bulge up as much, still keeps it’s shape and the size basically stays the same.
SPACE (COMPARTMENTS)—8/10
The space in the compartments is great, could be a bit better. There are no small pockets or compartments like my old Wilson bag. There are basically just 3 big compartments where you can stuff things in. Since I only have 3 racquets right now I use the middle compartment for my racquets and the other 2 for clothes, balls, food, drinks, etc. The inside of the bag is very spacious though, the biggest compartment of the bag is the left side and right side compartment, the middle one is fairly small. This contributes to the size of the bag. I was only able to add 3 racquets to the middle one, when I tried adding another one it would not fit. I think that the outer compartments can hold 4 each and than 3 in the middle, so about 11 racquets in all, 1 extra than advertised! The inner colors of the outer compartments are silver and black while the middle compartment is all black. I believe that the compartments contain Thermo-Guard technology to protect your racquets, clothes, etc. from hot or cold weather. This is great if you want to keep tension of your racquets
OVERALL--9/10
Overall I love this bag and will probably be using this for years to come. This bag fit's all my needs and could probably fit yours.
