A chance to make a slightly less beefy one perhaps, around 330g unstrung?
The 315g version is too light for me (too polarised). Around 330g would be ideal for me. 340g is just a bit too much for a 97. I really think they should consider it.There's already a lightweight version...
... then... find a 330g racquet? Pro Staff is just a name...The 315g version is too light for me (too polarised). Around 330g would be ideal for me. 340g is just a bit too much for a 97. I really think they should consider it.
I'm sure there are some overspec'd Pro Staff 97's that could weight around 320-325g. Try the matching service from TWThe 315g version is too light for me (too polarised). Around 330g would be ideal for me. 340g is just a bit too much for a 97. I really think they should consider it.
An under-spec RF would probably be best. I have thought about shaving the head-guard off mine.I'm sure there are some overspec'd Pro Staff 97's that could weight around 320-325g. Try the matching service from TW
An under spec RF is so rare. I think 1/100. You should remove the metal pins inside the handle and set up weight and balance new as you prefer. An under-spec RF would probably be best. I have thought about shaving the head-guard off mine.
Mine's already 362g, so I don't want to add more weight. Just need a 330g version (352g strung with OG), with the same official balance (12pt unstrung, 9pt strung). I'm sure they could do it as 330g is still a big difference to the 315g model. An under spec RF is so rare. I think 1/100. The PS97 head is not sufficiently stable for me. Feels hollow and inconsistent compared to an RF97. And even if I dotted 15g of lead around the hoop and handle, the layup wouldn't feel the same as they are constantly changing the PS97, whereas, the RF97 is a basic braided graphite-Kevlar layup continuing the PS85 / PSC 6.1 95 tradition. I just need that layup 10g lighter.Add some weight to the handle.
