His BH and ROS are a huge problem. He needs to sort them out otherwise he wont win a slam.Yeah feel bad for Tsitsipas. Overjoyed as a Novak fan but was a tough one for the Greek. A win today could changed the landscape and give hope for Tsitsipas and next gen to try take over more. As it is Djokovic and big 3 still on top. I hope Tsitsipas can recover because he has a great game and he fought well today.
no, barring this match he played just one match being down 0-2 and he lost it (vs murray at uso)Has djokovic ever came back from two sets down to win in a slam final?
We didn't see "peak" djokovic at the French open we instead saw a gutsy fighter who never gives up against all the odds, he wasn't supposed to beat Nadal but novak writes his own script.
Nope he was 2-1 down twice at AO (12 and 20)Has djokovic ever came back from two sets down to win in a slam final?

True man. I agree Feds probably on his last legs but I meant in terms of majors won in past years bar thiem. Next gen still kept at bay for now.The Big Three = Djoker, Rafa and Tsitsipas.
I agree. However, if Novak equals them he’s greater than both of them. Yep he’s still needs the next slam out of the big3.
Then as it would stand he’d be on top due to his CV out of slams being better and double career slam. For now though 1 more needed. Right though what a monumental moment for Djokovic, Djokovic fans and the slam race. The heat is on.
The numbers only tell part of the story. Nadal and Djokovic have gone their entire career without having to face a younger all time great. Federer had to deal with two.

In winning his 2nd RG title,19th Slam and 84th singles title, Djokovic becomes:
1. The 1st man in the Open Era to complete a Career Grand Slam twice.
2. The 3rd man in the history of tennis to complete a Career Grand Slam twice (along with Laver and Emerson).
3. One of only 2 current players to win multiple Slams on all 3 surfaces (along with Nadal).
4. One of only 6 players in the Open Era to rally from 2 sets down to win a Slam final (others being Borg, Lendl, Agassi, Gaudio, Thiem).
5. One of only 5 players in the Open Era to rally from 2 sets down to win a final at Roland Garros (others being Borg 1974, Lendl 1984, Agassi 1999, Gaudio 2004).
YES YES YES!!!!!
Congrats to Novak. DCGS.
Fair play to Stef but I really didn’t want him to get this. He will have his chances again.
Big 3??? Who is the third wheeler?Yeah feel bad for Tsitsipas. Overjoyed as a Novak fan but was a tough one for the Greek. I think you are onto something here, Harry
Yeah right now it’s a big 1. Hopefully Djokovic continues to dominate and wraps up the debate for sure on being the greatest. Not getting carried away though as things can change quickly. As we seen in Wimbledon 2016. Still got High hopes for Novak now.Big 3??? Who is the third wheeler?
Sorry but you eat frogs and snails. It’s kinda weird
WIM is his to lose. USO will be a much bigger fight as it will be 20-20-20 Fedr is done. Nadl is still there. Tsits is mentally screwed for the rest of the season. Med can push him. And that's about it. OG plus 4 GSs this year plus YE No1 is what I am gunning for with him.Try right now it’s a big 1. For now though he needs to rest a bit before getting ready on grass for Wimbledon.
Tsitsipas had a "heart to heart" with Serena Williams before the finals? "How to act fit while being tired?" was the subject matter! What's the Mortogoru's explanation as to why he lost ?? Stepanoe supposed to win today and take over serena's role as STAR player of the academy and bring thousand more students and make patrick Rich ,, and make IMG look like child play
Yeah he has a perfect game for grass now. He’s also come out in his presser saying I ready for more and to win Wimbledon. Sending on a statement to the tour that he hungry for more. What a warrior! Yeah it’s been an amazing 2021 so far but hopefully more to come.WIM is his to lose. USO will be a much bigger fight as it will be 20-20-20 Fedr is done. Nadl is still there. Djokovic is already ranked #1 in the world and has been for a while now!Try right now it’s a big 1.
Woke up at two sets to love. Went to work thinking "wow, Stef's gonna do it, huh?" Checked back a while later and Novak is close to forcing a 5th set lol. Now checking live scores whenever I could. Novak had to work his arse off for this title. Looking like it's gonna be 20-20-20 soon...
because "mods"Why did all the threads get deleted regarding Tsitsipas’s comment about the bathroom break?
He would destroy them like he did in the past lolImagine if Djokovic right now was up against peak big 3...
Final points and Joker celebration afterwards at inner ring ground level court side seats!
He would destroy them like he did in the past lol
Of course it was. Its just excuse making and rationalizing.I’m amazed at how some fed fans give roger a pass from 2010 to 2019. His game was good enough to win for more than 5 slams after he turned 28. The amount of choking against novak stands out. The 2010 and 2011 us opens. The 2015 us open where he went 4 for 23 on break points. The 2019 wimbledon. His game was still go enough to challenge novak from 2010 to 2019.
so bad...its funny

A 22 yr old is tired. But a 34 yr old is tireless.well here you have it. Steapnoe said he just had a bad day after the 2nd set. he kept on hitting short... and just Tired... need to win 3 sets to win Majors,,,NOT 2 sets
Lol. You keep saying that and lose Everytime. If he wins wimbledon it would be a great feat but it could be very difficult. We shall see.
Lol. You keep saying that and lose Everytime.
Did you not understand that Novak cannot be beaten in a 5 set match. Unless he is injured.
There is not a single ATP player who can beat him in 5 sets on any surface. Right now at this time.
A 22 yr old is tired. But a 34 yr old is tireless.
Super pathetic these next gen mugs are.
My prediction is the following for Wimbledon:Dude it’s still a difficult task . Winning the first 3. It hasn’t been done in awhile i believe. Grass is weird in a way but we shall see. All i know is that he will surpass Federer and Federer will be kicking himself for some of those matches he let slip by.
He's also equalled Federer's record of 6 multi-slam seasons.
