RG scheduling starting to mirror USO, quarters on all matches on PC

With the new roof and lights, quarter final matches have now moved exclusively to be on PC, instead of sharing with SL. Similar to Ashe Stadium for USO.

Not sure, but I think AO is that way also.

We know Wimbledon will not follow that suit though, as it would wear out the grass even more. Plus they have cerfews over there.
 
Once Wimbledon starts playing on the middle Sunday and splits the fourth round they may move to that format too if they split the quarters across days as well. No essential tennis reason for them (or Australia) to make the move given they have roofs on more than one court and nobody will be at a disadvantage, scheduling wise. But it's nicer this way for TV viewers given you don't have to choose which one to watch.

The Paris curfews are covid related, and they're moving it back later even from tomorrow. In a normal year I'm assuming they won't apply at all. The Wimbledon ones are in place all the time.
 
If the ongoing WTA match goes the distance, Zverev-Fokina will probably start around 7pm. And it they go the distance, Tsitsipas and Medvedev might be playing until 4 in the morning.

They have 2 days of rest before the semis tho don't they?
