5-2 Raz

LOL - Raz is trolling Pas with loud extended grunts after hearing Pas complain about it. LOL
Carlos has had enough of his bs. Tsitsipas has been asking for it since he tried to hit him last year in Barcelona.

Speaking as someone who has never played a Bo5 match, I always wonder what must be going through the mind of the loser down 0-2. Especially going up against someone you've never beaten.

Can you really block it all out and just take it 1 point at a time? Or are you completely dead inside and just going through the motions?

Everybody has something to be happy about irrespective of political affiliation lol.
Yep I still can't believe opposition is so spineless that they think it is victory for them, BJP was incumbent for 10 years and still manage to win more seats alone than whole United opposition, sorry state of affair in politics in India

Seriously though, what has he really added to his game in 2 years? I was very impressed with the way he handled Wimbledon, adding the cushioned FH and working on his return footwork, but since then he has gone backwards.
Apart from patience with his spin game (masterclass against Sinner in IW) I feel he used the downtime during his injury to adapt + improve his serve and backhand. But we'll see if that is sustainable and even more improvable on the long run

Pas is playing pretty well considering how bad their matches have been in the past. He does have a game plan, it is about execution.
Conditions are helping him now as the Alcaraz spin not having the same effect now. I am seeing a weakness in the Alcaraz game and thats passing shots when on the run, something the 3 GOATS were masters at.

The backhand is the best it's ever been arguably. There's that and a slightly better serve.

Conditions ar eplaying a part, its cooler and lower bouncing now which is making Tstsipas BH less vulnerable than earlier, and if Sinner v Alcaraz is 2nd on and is later and its cool i think it could be problems for Alcaraz.
It won't be second, the guys tomorrow will go second as they'll have had a day less rest.

Yeah, lol, me and @metsman were getting laughed at when saying Carlos is an early peaker, who was way ahead of the curve at 18-19, not someone who is barely starting

I'm not sure Alcaraz would be a clear favourite versus Sinner tbh. Level wise it seems they are closer than they were earlier in the tournament.
I really can‘t tell. Alcaraz is looking good now but he‘s also playing his perfect opponent.
Sinner looked good against Dimitrov but that‘s also a good matchup for the italian.
The difference I‘d say is that Sinner tries to do as much as he needs to, while Alcaraz likes to show what he has in pretty much every match. So in summary - I really can‘t tell ;)

The only thing I know for sure is that I‘m really looking forward to that match!

Definitely a marquee match!

Carlos started great but other than that is just doing what he needs to do as well in a way - not exactly flawless or anything today

What's your opinion? Tsi felt so dominant during Monte Carlo, his FHs irresistible for all opponents (apart from Sinner) and today against Raz it feels like he's not even coming close to hit it in any similiar kind of fashion. Is it exclusively Raz or isn't Tsi on the same level as then?
