He's physically done in at this point. He needs to develop self-criticism and think about 37 year old Novak pulling off two straight marathon matches. If an old man can do that, Rune at 21 should be playing 5 hours in no heat without issue.

Z can play way better than this, I think he was way more offensive and proactive from the baseline against Nadal an in Rome, but he won't even need his best level unless he is playing a good Djokovic or peaking Alcaraz/Sinner. Today for the most part he is just pushing and that's enough.
