Alcaraz beat Sinner their last matchup. Sinner fanboys seem to forget that. It's not a "really bad matchup" for Alcaraz, the two are relatively even head to head
It's not just about h2h. It's about the technical difficulties that Sinner causes Alcaraz. Their matches are very close. Even an injured Sinner breadsticked Alcaraz.
Alcaraz has a HARDER time with Sinner than he does with Novak. Despite the h2h.

Sinner is gonna win RG. And the calendar slam this year. This tournament here determines if he wins it or not. He’s a lock for Wimbledon and the us open
Novak is a lock for Wimbledon. And the UsOpen Alcaraz, Novak, Med will have chances too..
Sinner will only win RG if Novak gets upset before the final or gets injured.

It's funny how someone can almost bagel a dude to open a match, and never for a second does anyone think he's actually going to win the match.

Just what you need when struggling to keep up in a match - the opponent slams ball into the top of net only to then land flush on the line - blood boiling stuff

I pointed the same thing out earlier to that poster. Seems they don’t listen

if/when he learns to drown opponents with consistent depth and placement a la Djokovic he will be a nightmare

I love that he tries to blast his way through points (and usually can) but to paraphrase what Roddick said about Alcaraz, I think he'll be even better when he learns how to be boring

i still can't get over the fact that Moutet is hitting his forehand harder than Sinner.....LOL... but that underhand serve is the best shot he has,,, he needs to use it more often
Right. I can't understand why people are booing under arm serves... Great on clay

I totally agree. If Sinner beats Alcaraz then he proves us wrong and he ready for clay too. The guy is already top dog everywhere else. Amazing player. I hope the match happens.
I think he would’ve won Monte Carlo if not for the line call, won Madrid easily had it not for a lingering injury and Rome was in his reach, I think he’s a much better player than Zverev
