Robin Soderling RS Legacy V1 shoes launching this fall.

They could work for you/others. The midfoot was nicely accommodating. Just that forefoot inflare got me.

I’ve given up trying to figure out what will work/not work based on others. For example the foot doc says he has a wide foot but then claims in almost every review that “actually even a 2E you can go true” for almost everything. When I tried YYs recently I found the supposedly wider Eclipsion to be too narrow on my midfoot, while the supposedly narrow Ad Accel (according to TW) to be actually fine, I think because it’s a more straight last and more gentle toe inflare.

All depends on the quirks of your own foot. I have a very high arch and a wide forefoot. GR9 is a bit tighter on my foot than I would like but good enough to play in in exchange for how good it performs (once I cut out the straps and once the shoe breaks in/molds to the foot more).
That is very true. For example, the ON RF shoes that everyone was talking about being wide, killed my pinky and I could not play more than 30 min in them. The Club version, on the other hand, felt like a boat on my foot, but still useable when tied tightly.
The RS shoes feel very roomy but very much playable when tightened a little bit. And I had absolutely no rubbing.

I also found the Federer shoes (all models RP1, RP2, and CHP) to be very pointy in the toebox, despite being touted as wide.

:( I can not

Also have you attempted to contact RS about a business account return label? @ryohazuki222 also ordered from overseas and was able to get a return label back to China just by asking them. It was only $15 since they had a business account, as opposed to the normal price of $30-$50.

You are selling now at a loss of over $40. That's almost the same as return shipping. See if they have any $15 labels mate

I’ll try that. Thank you!!

I've got about 8 hours on clay with the clay version of the RS. It is still impressing. I like the feel, weight, and overall build of the shoe. I did notice a little discomfort in the outer edge of my foot after yesterday, we played 2 1/2 hours but it's nothing dramatic. If this keeps up, I'll have to get a pair of the hard court RS's once my NB's wear out.

Final thoughts on the RS ver 1. I played a senior tournament in Florida last weekend on clay. I cannot overstress the comfort of these shoes. Considering I paid $120 for them, they are a steal. I would, in fact, pay full price $150 and still feel good. I am going to purchase the hardcourt version, unless @dr325i weighs in to the contrary, once my NB's are ready for the bin. My knees didn't suffer, the shoes provided enough of everything to be considered more than adequate for playing 2 hours a day 3 days in a row. I love them.

Agreed, great shoes, especially for someone with medium-wide or wide foot.
Excellent bid quality.
Played 5 days in a row here in Shanghai on VERY hard courts and my (damaged) knees feel fine.

Was invited to play today, got to the club and we played hard court because the clay had frozen. @dr325i - you were right (again as always), I was wearing the clay RS shoes. They did great on hard. So, I've ordered a pair of the hardcourts from another etailer in Europe who has them at a substantial discount! I got the last pair of Europe 43/UK 8.5/US 9.5. This is a great shoe and has pretty much replaced my NB's now.

Awesome, glad to hear you like them! I do too.
I am surprised no one wanted the 11.5 size ones, I mistakenly ordered, at a heavy discount….
Ah, well…
