One slam each. who is better?

a-rod: much more impressive cv. more slam finals than cash (5 v 3), tons more titles. fed roadblock stopped him winning more

cash: arguably much stronger era (lendl, mcenroe, connors, edberg, becker, wilander). slam arguably better quality (beat wilander, connors, lendl). career ruined at peak by injuries.

imo cash was better player than roddick at his peak. demolished lendl in that wimby final, n got good wins over lotsa legends. but i be biased - love the s&v.

Obviously Roddick career wise, but Cash's run to the 1987 Wimbledon title was quite amazing.

Plus, did cash have to play the GOAT? No. Then again neither did Duck, both too old to play Laver

Cash's body barely let him be more than a glorified part timer, unfortunately. But he could've won one of those AO finals if his muscle tears didn't have tears on them, if you take his word for it.
