Federer setting low expectations which could be of a benefit, there is a possibility he could ease his way into form and reach the Quarters or Semis at the French Open, in my view he will need to employ the drop shot more frequently and be more aggressive off of his backhand.

That's better for him at this stage. No expectations, swing freely, and see what that gets you. It is the same attitude as early 2017.

I can’t believe it. Federer is throwing the French Open? Disgusting new low. And with such a high chance to win and a great performance on clay, why Roger? Why?!

He is delusional, again! Of course he can win it. There are certain preconditions that need to be put in place.

Djok (just like in 2017/18) has to break his legs. Nadal must meet Soderling in R1, Tsits is still crying over the loss in Rome, Med is on a vacation, Thiem is celebrating his USO win, Milkman is on a delivery run, the Georgian is listening to his duduk music etc. So, with 3-4 W/Os and a bit of luck Fedr can pull it off. He just has not been told that this scenario is being implemented by the ATP board.

In a nutshell, Roger is saying "I'm past it."

Why not only post the part of the clip where Federer says he won't win RG? That's what anyone opening this thread wants to hear...not what happened at Geneva.

I think the user who uploaded the video on youtube misled me into misleading. Apologies.
