IMO, that's the most impressive achievement.

14. Going 15-0 in Grand Slam finals against all players not named Nadal.

He has two wins against nadal in slam finals. Wimbledon 2006, and 2007.

The most impressive for me (other than 15 and career slam), is the 21 consecutive semi final appearances. That is just sick.

I was super impressed by his record against players ranked below #5 in Grand Slam matches. What is it now 115-0 or thereabouts?

How about making all 4 slam finals in back to back years, and being 2 sets away from a calendar slam both times? Also 10 straight slam finals winning 8/10?

have you guys got anything better to do?

The same can be said of you....it's funny when people make it appear that people waste their time posting in a topic..and then they themselves post in said topic to belittle others but come off nullifying whatever silly point they had?

On topic- It's the 21 semi's and being in each final at least 4 times that impresses me the most.

The point is, there's like a billion threads on the same issue. Fair play, fed's got his 15 major's, but there's no point keep masturbating over his achievements.

I have one stat to add. Since the French Open in 2004 no one has won a major without beating Federer. Either he wins the title (13 times) or the player who beat him went on to do so (6 times). Essentially, you have to beat Federer to win a major.

Actually that would be 8 times, and in fact since he won his first major in 2003 only 2 players have won one without defeating Federer. Roddick and Gaudio, of the other 3 who have won majors since then (Safin, Djokovic and Nadal) only Nadal managed to win more than one, and only Nadal beat Federer in the final of a major.
