fed doesnt look as good with the k-factor racquet. he looks better with the ncode [red/white] paint job.

Nope, not anymore since I believe he's been essentially using the K90 all along. So now it's the real deal - string spacing, shorter handle, more feel, more flex, PS 6.0 weight distribution, and all. I never believed he used a real nCode 90 but I do believe he uses a real K90.

I dont know why everyone hacks mirka out on these boards, i mean she isnt that bad, shes not heaps fat like everyone says, she is obviously very helpful and i dont think fed would be as successful if he was having flings with 20 year old blond models every five secons (ala. Safin). Mirka is obviously very helpful and they have a stable relationship, many players who have unstable relationships have a game to match. So everyone should give her a break.

Your sentiments are well-founded, FN, but thankfully, I'm sure she could care less what a bunch of people on the net think, even if she ever stumbled across it.
You somehow think the WTA updates statistics when players aren't playing? If you'd looked a little more carefully you'd realise she stopped playing a few years ago. Very few athletes stay in the exact shape they were in as competitors!
BP, you now may not be a proponent of the paintjob camp anymore, but that doesn't mean there now still won't be people in that camp!

Who cares? I don't want to use the K90 just because Federer uses the K90, so I couldn't care less how he has his customized. He could have his weighted up to 10 pounds for all I care. I just want the stock racquet because I think it's probably the closest thing to the PS 6.0 90 that I requested Wilson to make for me 2 1/2 years ago.
BTW, I play with all of my racquets stock (i.e., no lead tape), just with leather grips (and heat shrink sleeve, if needed).

somewhat agreeing with breakpoint, i believe federer's been using the same racquet this whole time, the racquet's specs have always been the same, its just a 90 sq in racquet with a shorter palette and distinct string pattern, and now, finally, the stock model for the public is the same as the racquet in federer's hands

The white grip does wonders to the racquet. At first I didn't like the paint job but the white over grip changed that.
