The bagel is a Jewish product, isn't it? Come on, knock off the racism over-sensitivity.

López played a lousy dropper on BP and got broken. That's the difference that is giving Tipsy the opportunity to serve for the match.

Probably a bit much too expect Feli to win against a better claycourter after a draining first round match.

And that's it. Janko capitalized on his chances, Feli didn't. Good win for the Serb, Murray awaits.

Wow, Youzhny got his butt kicked... what happened?

Glad Simon won an easy one after his ridiculous first round match. Maybe this is the end of his slump? I know it's Kendrick and all that...

So until the Tipsy match, all of them had been a little one sided, huh? I guess Almagro/Gulbis was close as well...

Didnt realise Janko was in Murray's side of the draw, that'll be an interesting encounter. If Janko plays his tennis I can see him taking out Murray.

^ Didn't think that match would be so close!

Hewitt has a break in his first set vs Golubev ^^

I hope he can get a comfortable win in, he deserves it after the monumental effort it took for him to beat Karlovic

==

woo, Hewitt takes the first set 6-4!

Glad to hear Hewitt on a winning way too. Oh his next opponent will be Nadal. A very very tough match for him.

Nice job by Hewitt.

Don't think he stand a chance against Nadal, but have seen him employ tactics against Nadal that do work (hamburg>> hitting his own BH to Nadal's FH). Perhaps he could make this an interetsing match.

^ I'd really like to see Hewitt make a match of it, it's great to see him getting back and competitive

Looks like there's some decent matches lined up for tomorrow as well =D

I wonder if Rufin could dig out an upset against Melzer tomorrow, that'd be a monster win for him. He's only just turned 19 and is quite a way down in the rankings but he destroyed Schwank (who's not a slouch on clay) in the first round.

+ I just read his post match interview which had a question about his personality in it and made me chuckle

"Well, yes, because if you're that zen, it's nice to be zen. You have to have a personality, your own personality. This is something I missed in the past. I was too kind, too zen. . .too mild. Sometimes when the match was tough I would give up a little, but now I've changed. I have more personality. I try and express myself more. This is what you need, to express yourself, to have more personality."

Anyway I'd be quite interested to see him play, like I said, he's way down in the rankings, but he's won a couple of futures recently (I think it's his first out of juniors) so it seems he'd be liable to start moving up.

Hewitt doesn't have a big enough forehand to trouble Nadal.
Nadal really has the draw from hell: Hewitt- Ferrer- Verdasco in a row, brutal. He'd better be in the form of his life for a draw like this and unfortunately, I don't think he is. Good thing the matches are every other day instead of every day, should make things a little easier.

lmao!! Even if with the form he is in now, which doesn't seem to be too bad imo, he will have no problem with those three. Stop exaggerating. "Draw from Hell"...lol.

Is he tired? Will he be more tired after straight setting Hewitt? Ferrer? Verdasco?

Haas just lost the 3rd set to Mayer and Clement managed to win a set and take it to four! Allez!

Mayer is a good player, I actually think he could still take Haas, also keep an eye on the young french guy Rufin, I think he could give Melzer a problem today too

hoo~ Mayer has taken Haas to a fifth set, great stuff.

Melzer just snuck the second out from under Rufin in there match, so barring a big comeback by the young frenchman (2 in 2 days?) it seems he's probably out
