It's embarrassing, une honte, une disgrâce. I was for the the first time at Roland last Sunday, it was absolutely packed, but it really seemed like lots of people were more interested at hanging around outisde eating waffles and drinking coffee or other drinks at ridiculous prices, rather than to watch tennis, coming at RG because it's "cool and hip" more than anything else.
Same as Wimbledon. AO is the best for real tennis fans, USO has real sports fans as its so far out of manhattan people with a real interest in sport tend to go as its a good 45 mins train ride.
Wimbledon is just a joke, most people dont even understand tennis who go and just want the Insta pics etc.

Zverev schooled Alcaraz twice in slams, but you just know he will lose when it is a really big match. Especially when @Kralingen jinxed him.

Any preference on winner?

This tournament has proved just how dangerous Zverev is when playing well. Alcaraz has been mentally superior in big matches / finals.

Really have no idea what to expect from the final. Could be a good match or could be a blowout for either player.
Z has to bring his best game. Anything less - and he will be toast.

Alcaraz in big finals is a beast. Z can’t lower his level one bit for it to be an epic and for Z to win.

Anything less - Carlitos takes it.

But in Z we believe :)

Still only one break... Ruud isn't done yet. Really wanted Zverev to break there and end this once and for all but it's not over yet!

What was cool at Roland is that you can randomly walk by some players in the alleys after they finished their practice, but I guess it's the same for the other slams as well. I've walked by Eubanks and Leylah Fernandez but didn't want to bother them.

Zverev looks like the player of the future I used to read about in tennis magazines as a kid.

I genuinely think Zverev when serving well, is the best server on the tour. Hurkacz a close second but Zverev's just looks devastating.
Hubie seems more consistent to me. When this guy is at his peak though he is basically unplayable. He doesn't get there all that often though.

Credit to Ruud, he is sticking in it. But it looks like he is only delaying the inevitable and Z clearly has two more gears he can use.

Have we ever seen two shots around the net on the same day in two different matches on the same court?

Today we saw it with Sinner and now Zverev.
