Zverev is probably the worse match up for alcaraz.Zverev at his best is a tougher match-up for Carl than Tsitsipas or Sinner, unfortunately.

Zverev really deserves a slam!
Though Thiem too deserved a slam. Good that he had one, given what panned out later in his career.I was upset when Thiem won over him...

Yes, yes they were

You getting nervous? lolRuud can still pull this around if he starts feeling better.

You ever check the career stats and compare them? It's pretty eye opening when you really look at the numbers. A good chunk of the current top 10 are (on paper at least) better than the rest of the top 10 during the Big 4 era. Again, I am very much taking into account that the Big 4 themselves were the barrier most of the time but yeah. Zverev especially, if he does win this match and the final, He would leap-frog a LOT of other players historically in the stats.
You better hope alcaraz does the business for youHe is clearly diminished. Only an idiot can think Zverev is playing well.
Zverev sure not Tsitsipas or RuudYou ever check the career stats and compare them? It's pretty eye opening when you really look at the numbers. That time of the month it seemsWhat's wrong with Ruud?
That was a forgettable day. Beta tennis from both of them in crucial moments. But in the long-run it wasn't the worst thing for Zverev to lose that final. He's become tougher and better in crunch situations. Meanwhile Thiem's career at the top of the game pretty much ended a few months after that triumph.
You better hope alcaraz does the business for you
Thiem played better vs Djokovic at AO but ironically won a slam in funny circumstances at uso ..true both player like betas....Nadal missed that slam ? Why was that ? I don't remember him injured.... was that due to covid ?
Ruud must mean bridesmaid in Norwegian.
let's hope ruud gives him a big kissI just hope whatever Ruud has doesn't get passed to Zverev when they shake hands at the net. Need him fit and ready for the final. (Assuming he sees this match out)
That’s a good point.I just hope whatever Ruud has doesn't get passed to Zverev when they shake hands at the net. Need him fit and ready for the final. (Assuming he sees this match out)
Yes his level in the AO was fantastic
I think with Nadal it was a precautionary withdrawal - due to "Covid-related safety concerns" and of course to prioritise upcoming Rome / RG.
It is what it is.Ruud looks like he feels like crap. Not good for this to happen in a Slam SF.
I don’t see how. He choked as hard as Coria in his lone (so far) slam final. To deserve it he’s gotta win it!Zverev really deserves a slam!
What for? You win a slam by winning a slam final, the Zedrot managed to reach just one slam final in his career and came up with a giant choke.Zverev really deserves a slam!
Right. .. I guess bull could have won that given what happened ....prob bad choice
Due to how talented he isI don’t see how. He choked as hard as Coria in his lone (so far) slam final. To deserve it he’s gotta win it!
