Have to imagine neither Coco nor Boisson have a chance against the winner of this. (However, I thought the same in the 2023 USO F)
Coco has been inconsistent overall but her level on clay this season is pretty high, I dunno.

Sabalenka can blow any woman off the court if she keeps her head right. The 2023 US Open and 2025 AO finals were two in particular that she fumbled. She's basically like prime Serena now the last few years, she has more power than anybody else by a significant margin and the fate of matches are completely on her racquet.

coaching change has to be made...the psychologist situation has to be re-thought...her game itself needs to be altered, starting with the serve

has to incorporate a slice, needs to learn to finish points consistently at the net...needs to join the modern game with some dropshots

Talk about shutting the door. 4-0 up and Sabalenka rains down 4 consecutive first serves. They sounded like gunshots under the Chatrier roof.

Iga Swiatek’s reign as Roland Garros champion now draws its last breath in the Parisian afternoon.

Mid career slump or is the sun setting on Swiatek as a champion full stop at Slam level.

Don't think I've ever seen such a fast drop off in quality from a player between one set and the next.. as if she forgot to renew her subscription to the great tennis player service

Hadn’t fallen asleep so thought I’d check the score and yikes.

That’s something.

Hope Sabalenka can stomp and win the final and be 3/4 on her way to a career grand slam!

Iga, well she’s still had a great run and in the top 3 race for the year but needs to sort something out. Idk what that was.

Absolutely stunned, but not the first time for that. This will likely give a huge shot of confidence going forward to Sabalenka - she had her nervous moments. Rest of the ladies are now on official notice I guess.

Well done, Aryna Sabalenka - into the Ladies' Championship - 7-6 (1); 4-6; 6-0 over 3-time defending champion Iga Swiatek.

Iga Swiatek needs to regroup, and I think she will, but it may take a little time.
