Roland Garros DRAW.

For all the cakewalks Nasal/Novak have had Fed deserves an easy one :)
Actually, Novak tends to have tough draws in slams. For instance it's very rare for a player to face more than 2 top 8 players in a draw. Well, Djoko has had to face 3 top 6 players in 4 different slams: AO 2011, AO 2012, RG 2012 and AO 2013. By contrast, Nadal has faced 3 top 6 once in his career (RG 2011) and Fed once as well (USO 2007) and that was a lonnnnnng time ago.

OK I'll play this game. But why top 6? What's so special about top 6 other than you can try and make Fed's draws look not as tough as Djoker's by focusing on top 6. Generally the benchmark is top 10. So let's take a look at top 10:

Djoker: 2011AO, 2012AO, 2012RG, 2012USO and 2013AO.
Nads: 2011RG, 2011W, 20212 AO
Fed: 2004USO, 2006USO, 2007AO, 2007RG, 2007SO, 2009AO, 2010AO, 2011RG.

Now I thought you said somewhere that Nads has had waaaaay tougher draws than Federer?

BTW, all the top seeds have an equal chance of facing the same number of seeds in a given draw. What happens to those seeds along the way is out of their control. If all the seeds but one in a certain quarter lose early, whose fault is that? Certainly not the fault of the last man standing. He can only play the player across the net.

yes. except i am nole's countryman and his fan and you are still posting crap.
but don't let the truth stop you, facepalm all you want.

you mean it's not true that last year Fed got Djoker and Nads got Ferrer and the year before Nads got Murray and Fed got Djoker and did Nads the favour of beating him? This isn't the truth? Take a look at the ATP site if you don't believe me and stop saying I'm not telling the truth. This is the truth. Suck it up.

As an objective Nadal fan, I have to admit that Rafa has got many cakewalk draws, and Fed has got all the brutal draws, year and year, like the ATP and ITF had a death warrant on the poor Swiss, but this time it's a brutally tough draw for our man Rafa, especially with him coming out of seven months bed-rest, with pressing the buttons of the tv remote being the only exercise he got, but we will take this draw sportingly, for that's how the cookie crumbles or whatever it is you folks say in the West, no complaints, we'll take this FO match by match, set by set, blow by blow, and of course don't forget that Rafa is playing with an injured knee for the sake of his beloved fans who have been dying to see him play for a year even if one or two repeatedly predict that he will be steam-rolled by low ranked players in the opening rounds of each tournament while others keep asserting that he will keep winning slams till he is 55, and chaps like Jmac say he is the greatest ever even as scrubs like Brands took him the cleaners, but all is fair in love-making and tennis.
Vamos Rafa !
