what? what are you talking about? why did he wait to start winning?? :-D:-D There is not only djokovic on the court, my dear.. As I repeat for 3rd time I suppose ,cerundolo choked his serve , played terribly and then suddenly we have new djoko
You are making stuff up

Novak was winning very comfortably and had not been broken even once at the time he called the MTO

You didn’t watch the match, did you?

I don’t know why we’re acting like Nadal is some universally beloved player on here lol. He has an incredible amount of haters and detractors who say insulting things about him every match.

Federer as usual stands above all others. Say what you will about his game but no one can claim he wasn’t a great sportsman or that he failed to comport himself with honesty and grace during matches.

To me Federer was not a great sportsman, he behaved worse than Djokovic when losing and never congratulated his opponent on good shots. Was completely petulant when defeated

Nadal never showed too much irritation when losing but his demeanor when defeated is sulky, overall his sportsmanship was better than Federer’s

Djokovic becomes irritated with himself and disrespectful spectators when playing poorly, but is always gracious and respectful in defeat. He was by far the best sportsman with the best sportsmanship

How interesting that half of the posters here have enough time to play sports at the highest levels for hours, never have any injury that needs help, and yet they also have time to post here about how excellent their physical skills are!
Amazing, truly Super Boys, almost all here!

No comments on other parts, but congratulating on opponents’ good shots is a way of coping in many cases. It helps with a player’s own confidence. In many cases they only do it against players they are better than. It’s like “too good I can’t get that but that’s ok” Doesn’t mean anything especially clear when particular players really like to do it with an especially salty face (not gonna name names)

Agreed Cerundolo looked like he had no idea what to do. You have to feel for him, this will haunt him for a long time.

Reality is that Cerundolo could not pressure Djokovic at all from mid 4th set. Not on his own serve, not on returns, not DTL and absolutely not in a cross court rally.
He had his chance at 4th set. Should not have dropped serve with two double fault at 4-2

So clapping the racket for your opponent when he makes a nice shot, but making a mess of all the rest for him is better then just getting on with business? How many times was Djokovic voted by the players as having the best sportsmanship?
