Couch potatoes that never played a competitive sport in their life. Even I that am barely a mediocre weekend player find all kinds of niggles that sometimes turn into something more serious and sometimes they don't. That's just how it is. Obviously something bothers Novak, what we don't know is whether it can turn into something more serious.

Over time 2023 and RG 21 look more and more important

Federer didn't play RG from age 34 and 9 months until he was 37 and 9 months. So he wasn't playing it at this age. What is there to argue about? How about move on and watch the match.
