Novak should win if he plays like today, not many mistakes and was shooting from both wings. That said, Ramos is not good at changing rhythm so will see how Nishikori does.

    Nole GOATs in 2.

Then Ultron threads are made before he gets creamed by RAFA.

If it goes to a decider, I give the edge to Nishikori. Otherwise Novak in two hard fought sets.

Novak beats RAFA in a 3rd set tiebreaker then lays an egg in the Rome final... Again.

I can't remember the last time Nishikori beat Djokovic. In fact, I remember matches that Djokovic played terribly and still beat Nishikori. Nishikori has had a mental block versus Djokovic for years. Never going to change. Djokovic could've beat him immediately post-surgery.

    Djokovic in 3.

    *This is a quarterfinal.

Going with Novak in a similar scoreline to the one they had in Madrid.

refuse to give Djokovic that much respect. He has to earn it by beating kori-kori and then I will take him to 1/2.

Novak flattened Kei in Madrid when he was at playing at a fraction of the level he is now so I expect another comfortable straight setter from him tomorrow. A meeting with Rafa in the semis seems unavoidable!

Nishi moved horribly (for him) in his first round! he also wearing one of those full length compression shirts, obviously he's having some kind of back issue or something of some sort...

It’s a shame that he gets injured so easily, another one of those “what could’ve been” players.

If we want to imagine the title is correct, there's 8 players left, and djoko makes up 1/8 of those. :)

USO'14 SF. Could we have Ninja/Cilic in the 1/1 match on Sunday just for old times sake?

    QF or R8.

Nobody beats Ninjakori 12x in a row. O Kei in 3.

Djok is a really bad matchup for Nishikori, has Kei ever squeaked out a win? Also I think Novak has picked up his game and is gaining steam.

Nishi will enter court very sharp and clinical, and I see a match of several breaks.
Novak will keep increasing his level to 8.5 - 9.0 (in an hypothetical 10 scale peak level).
Add the fact that he is very confortable in Rome, I see Djoko prevail in a memorable match.

How's Novak's form been this week? Is he returning to close to his best form, or is he just benefitting from weak opponents? Not that Dolgopolov or Ramos-Vinolas are weak, but neither has been on good form recently, either.

Nishikori will fold like a cheap suit. Why people are still hyped for this match is beyond me.

This is going to be a harder match, than what us Djokovic fans will expect. I would put my money on Kei, if he serves well. If he doesn't, then Djokovic will come through. The 2 best backhands in the business, imho.

Kei played well against Dimi and another comfortable win for him yesterday. So I think Djokovic will win this in straight sets.
