I'm not for sure, but I think I read somewhere that he's in Hawaii with Brooklyn, making a baby! :p

=======

p.s. The censor wouldn't allow me to post the official website for the same reason it wouldnt allow the full name of the tournament, so the link is to the atp site, where you can then link to the official site! :)

= = =

I hope against hope that Delpo w/b here to defend his 180 QF points ...

Seems funny to see "Haas, Tommy USA"

Does this mean now America has somebody that's good on clay?

Interesting pic, ruerooo ... unusual situation where the boy is wearing the swimsuit, while the girl is fully clothed

Americal welcomes Tommy Haas :)

Does anybody have an update on JMDP? Some insider info from his camp? I am a big fan, I tried to do all kind of searches, but came up with no news whatsoever.

It will be very interesting to see how Nadal pans out against any top 8 player that he might face in this tournament...specifically a Del Po or Soderling

Delpo is out ... Apparently, he's now training full on, but they anticipate he won't be ready for competition until the week of May 2nd.

LOL. I loved that. I figured if SI paid me a bunch to take it off (which they probably never would), I'd keep it on if I thought press were lurking in the bushes trying to get a snap for free.

Yes!!

Woooooooooow.

So not only Rome, but he might miss Madrid too?

Now, don't hold me to this, but from what I remember of a confusing google translate of a spanish-language article, I deduced that he's planning to play Madrid, but because of the long layoff, he needs some match play before Madrid. There are 3 tournaments in the week of May 2nd from which to choose (and the article didn't specify any one in particular): Estoril, Belgrade or Munich ......... I wouldn't be surprised if he chose Estoril, but I'd kinda like it if he chose Belgrade! :)

I'd bet he chooses Estoril, to try to play Roger.

What's your interest in Belgrade, if you don't mind sharing?
Could you go?

Not sure raelly ... I guess it boils down to not having seen Estoril or Munich before and being happy for Djokovic last year that his initial year for a tournament in his country went as well as it did ...... I'll always have a bit of a soft spot for it since that was the first time I'd seen Lukasz Kubot have success in singles and doubles simultaneously. Kubot/Marach won that doubles championship and Kubot was the runner-up to Novak's champion. Nice memories, but it might be further from Madrid than Delpo wants to go! :)

Rafa will most probably meet Roger in the semi's - since Rafa is now Ranked 3 , so I think it'll be a semi-final clash instead of the usual Final loss of Federer to Rafa , mind you this was the tourney Roger turned his fortunes around in 2009.

50/50 chance depends on draw.

ROGER AND RAFA IN SAME HALF OF DRAW.

The potential quarter-final ties based on seeding are as follows:

Federer (1) – Cilic (6)
Nadal (3) – Soderling (5)
Tsonga (7) – Murray (4)
Verdasco ( 8 ) – Djokovic (2)

:-?

LOL! Nightmare draw for Nadal. Or nightmare draw for those who stand in his way. We'll see.

However, the fact is that he's expected to play against the two people who have defeated him on clay in the last 2 years.

Whoever is the finalist on Fedaling half, he'll be making a strong statement. Will Verdjokorray stand a chance?

Depending on who's in his eighth of the draw, this can be a cakewalk draw for Murray, BTW. That is, if he's in the shape to take advantage of it.

In the second round Rafa will play against the winner of Cuevas/Kohlschreiber match, Fed against Gulbis/Baghdatis.

So Nadal will probably play against:

Kohlschreiber
Soderling
Federer
Djokovic/Verdasco

This is so cool.

PK is actually a guy who can give Nadal some trouble, even on clay. Not enough to beat him, but enough to make it comepetitive and perhaps even win a set.

Im actually surprised that we havent had a Nadal - Fed semi potential matchup yet. It had to happen eventually.

Considering how the lower ranked Spaniards have done (Ferrer, Ferrero, Verdasco), no one in this draw is safe.

Nadal has a very tough draw. If he can win this, I will be extremely impressed. Lets see if the week of rest helped

Exciting draw! I can't wait to see a Rafa/Roger semi. Djokovic might actually make the final on the other side of the draw. He has some good claycourters but they've all played so much, he should win.

Us *******s can pack our bags. This is the dreamdraw for every Rafa-troll around. Federer hasn't played for a while, comes back, has a joke draw to the semis, gets to play Nadal for the first time in a year, on clay, just AFTER Nadal finally managed to do something in tennis again. Nadal's in hot form, and will probably dominate Federer (for old times sake) and it'll be Nadal-paradise around here all over again, with people saying Nadal is a better player. Just look at the h2h..

This, my friends, is (most of) the story of this rivalry..
