5 hours ago he looked like he should have played clay in 2017-2018.

Now he is looking like the guy who did well not to play clay in 2017-2018.

Fraud's form can change in a matter of hours, forget about days.

This is a reminder of what all majors used to be like - no roofs, changing schedules. I had barely finished watching the first match after I woke up, only a little behind, before the second match started. This is obviously going to hugely favor the young player who had rest. It's the double-edged sword of not playing until Wed. and then being scheduled every day, if nothing goes wrong. Sort of ruins the whole event for me and makes me just want to move on to RG, where things hopefully will be fairer.

Still don't understand the stubbornness of several tournament organizers to build roofs.

Yea it has killed the event a bit for me this week.

2 matches in a day are tough for any player at any time. At 37 and against coric this will be a very tough ask for Fed. Hoping he can do it but thinking he will not.

Finally on the board, but Federer looks slow. Without the speed, he cannot be attacking and he is playing very defensively now. I hope his body loosens up somewhat and feels better soon. Otherwise, cold and stiff Federer will be steamrolled by a young gun who didn't have to play earlier on today.

someone said that they felt he would win the first set and lose the match, does that mean he is winning in 3 now, or losing in 2.

It's the shadows, the difference between his movement and placement from this morning is like day and night, physicality can't be a part yet he only played 80-ish minutes before.
