Roarovic toys with the Diamond Age.

Moral hug at the net.

Moral final against Ruud, though. Higher quality, especially from Djokovic yesterday.

Djokovic is not a bad player on clay. Def not winning RG this year. Get all the good lines umpires Paris!

Yeah. I see all the stuff about him winning a boatload of matches this year but he really hasn't been anywhere close to the unstoppable beast he was in 2011 and 2015. He's unbeatable more because no one has the ability to beat him rather than him having a very high level.
I guess what I'm frustrated with is that there are players with the ability, just not the mentality.

There was no reason Thiem couldn't have beaten him in Australia or Monfils in Dubai.

Djokovic is putting too much pressure on himself going after number of tournament wins, just like Serena.
The moment he faces any opposition, he's getting frustrated. I think he'll lose in R3 or R4 at FO.

He's not going to win Roland Garros playing like that. But Rome is the next best thing on clay so thrilled with the result. The Masters record is his and his alone once again, well deserved. (y)

Djokovic on the verge of becoming the oldest Rome champion in open era history and also joining Nadal as the only two players to win a specific torunament on clay and on hard at least 5 times each.
Federer is just one Hamburg title short for completing the triple-5 on clay, hard and grass.

Novak is BY FAR the favorite for Roland Garros IMO.

He is playing his best. And in the wet damp conditions - he is unbeatable.

I think he could beat BOTH Thiem and Nadal back to back if that is what it took to win his 2nd French Open.

#18 is coming soon. And he wouldn't need more slams to be called the GOAT.
A 2nd French Open would be something that Federer NEVER did and will do.

I think demoting the tournament in 2009 really hurts him here. That clay suited him pretty well and he ended up winning 2009 Madrid (which replaced Hamburg).

Didn't get to see the match, but I will see the highlights later today.

Congrats to our champ! 36 masters titles. The true master of masters!
