No, no, and no.Novak is BY FAR the favorite for Roland Garros IMO.
He is playing his best. And in the wet damp conditions - he is unbeatable.
I think he could beat BOTH Thiem and Nadal back to back if that is what it took to win his 2nd French Open.
#18 is coming soon. And he wouldn't need more slams to be called the GOAT.
A 2nd French Open would be something that Federer NEVER did and will do.

The Hamburg clay really suited attacking players, and was Roger's most successful clay tournament by far. He could have won it in 2013 if the back didn't flare up badly.I think demoting the tournament in 2009 really hurts him here. That clay suited him pretty well and he ended up winning 2009 Madrid (which replaced Hamburg).
Oh, s. I always forget that 5th London title, that match really didn't happened, did ya? Did ya?!Djokovic has this now....
Corrected it for you. GOAT. Period.
Dunno. He's at least top 7 in my book. He's definitely top 10 of all time and an ATG, as Gore might say
How will chatrier be damp or wet this year? Indoor waterfall under the roof? Or do you mean it will be cooler or more humid?

This man just can't lose anymore.![]()
Cak i kad je samNajbolji siiii Noleeeee
Yes. The temperature is going to be 10 degrees cooler than June when the French Open is usually held A lot of matches will go during evening time under the lights and the roof.
We already see that Nadal's balls are NOT exploding off the surface at all. And his spin is BLUNTED with the conditions.
The only way Novak can be stopped in a prime Nadal on clay. And this is not happening this year. So IMO - Novak is the SOLID favorite for RG.
Thiem beat him last year. Djokovic hasn't been to an RG final in years.Yes. The temperature is going to be 10 degrees cooler than June when the French Open is usually held A lot of matches will go during evening time under the lights and the roof.

Didn't you say that prior to the US Open?![]()
And "the only way Novak can be stopped in a prime Nadal on clay" is obviously wrong, but it should be a great tournament nonetheless
Dude played a 3+ hour match last night against Shapovalov that went past 1 AM local time. Of course, he comes into this one tired af.
Who else will beat Novak on clay? Only Nadal (at his best) can IMO.
People will keep overrating Thiem here. But it took 5 sets for Thiem to beat Novak in crazy conditions last year over which don't suit Novak's game at all.
He thrives in cooler indoor like conditions.
He would have won 6-2, 6-0.After 1 a.m.??? Wow, that's a little over the top. By the time Diego got back to his room, showered, got in bed, etc. it must have been 3 a.m. , whereas Joker just played a nice early-afternoon 2-setter. I wonder how it would have turned out if they were reversed....
djokovic would probably win Us Open too
He has NOT lost a Legit match this year. Maybe this will be like 2011?
Well @StrongRule was right after all
Don't get the point. You are the one who tried to tell me that Djokovic declined on clay. And I told you this is not true. So now you suddenly admit I was right?Novak has declined so much on clay that he is currently holding the Madrid and Rome masters titles....
Yes, he did. Get over it already. He lost an OFFICIAL match in USO this year.He has NOT lost a Legit match this year. Maybe this will be like 2011?

It counts as an official loss. Even Djokovic himself admitted it. Just like a retirement in the middle of a match counts as an official loss.No he didn't. He was disqualified.
Disqualification = the removal of a participant from a contest due to a violation of the sport's rules.

he gonna be too tired tonight to pump her tho.You better thank the GF Diego. LOL![]()

This guy Djokovic is just too good on all surfaces. This is boring.
There is no competition at all.
The next gen is a joke. I almost cried watching the UsOpen final. Novak basically just beat himself otherwise he would have triple bagelled those jokers.
Djokovic was already a lock for 3 slams, but now watching Nadal on clay, it seems that French Open might also be a foregone conclusion for Djokovic.
That is why I said "MIGHT"By no means is it a foregone conslusion
Novak has played absolute nobodies for the Rome title. Don't kid yourself, if he is up against Thiem at RG, the result wont be very different from last year. I would say even an in-form Zverev would be quite a threat for Novak on clay. Lol @ hyping his victory against a tired Schwartzman. He might not have it this easy at RG.There is no competition at all.
