Novak should probably retire if he loses to either of these two. I don’t care if he gets zero sleep. lol
He already lost to one of them at the biggest sporting event. Let's face it. 2021 was a horrible season for Djokovic and his fans.

This era has improved so much. These players would destroy Raonic, Dimitrov, Agut etc (the players we had to put up with in previous inflation era). So many contenders for French Open!!

AO - lied to his fans that he had a 12 inch wound in his stomach or something
RG - took advantage of a poor and hobbled old bull
WB - won against some random Italian guy

I can’t continue to be a fan of this man. I’m taking my support to someone more deserving, like Tallon Griekspoor.

I also heard that he hired someone to break Nadal's foot before that match.

Zverev is just not coming in to net enough. Tsitsipas is just looping meatballs. Zverev keeps hitting great candidates for approach shots... but chooses to sit back.

Tsitsipas asserting yet again his clay dominance against ABZ.
Something I've noted is that Stef's base level on clay is so high that he doesn't have to shine too much to win.

Zverev has taken a page from the masterpiece How to volley by John Isner.

Isner actually has a decent volley. He finishes a lot of his points at net -- always has. If Isner gets to the net in time, he gets the point. Same with Karlovic.

Isner's big problem has always been slow movement. But for a guy who is 6-foot-10... I think he does the best he can with the tools he has.

Tsitsipas was pretty comfortable after tightening up his serve. I criticised him earlier in the week for being too passive but it worked for him today, he was keeping the ball in play more and letting Zverev beat himself. Djokovic will be a whole different kettle of fish though, I'd expect him to come through in straights if Tsitsipas doesn't improve from today.

I love how people are penciling in Djokovic in the final. There’s still another match to play. He very well may win but after this damn pandemic, I take nothing for granted.

Congrats Stef! Always nice to see Zverev lose.

He hasn't been playing at his best this tournament and still makes the final, clay is definitely his surface

The match showed the inherent issues with being real tall. Not being able to get under shots. How many netters did Z have?
