This is a great chance for Meddy to win his first clay title. He’s in great form and arrived his shots and movement on clay. However, Rune is playing fantastic too and is a bit more rested. He also beat Meddy in Monte Carlo in first meet a few weeks ago. I see this going 3 sets. I can’t call it but looking forward to the battle.

This could be a fun watch. I think Rune's game is much better suited for clay than Medvedev's but Medvedev engages in sh1thousery at an elite level similar to Rune. I expect a few momentum shifts.

Med in 3.. while Rune is the better player on clay for sure, I think the heavier conditions and Meds experience gets him through. Rune has shown tendencies to blow up and Meds baseline game is likely to frustrate Rune.

If Rune is to win, the execution of drop shots is key. Though IMO even that won't be enough for Rune to win. He will struggle to hit through Med in the damp conditions and Med being the better server could ultimately be the deciding factor.

Interesting final! I stand with my original tourney prediction. It's on Bratboy's hands. But I believe it won't be any cakewalk. Brat in three.
But amusing the fact that if Med wins, it can mess up FO draw.

I like both guys. I hope we get a great fight. This is the best meddy has ever played in the clay in his career so far. As for Rune he’s a great talent at such a young age. Both are very talented and are mentally tough. I think this will go the distance. Hopefully more of the same like Monte Carlo.

They are both a breath of fresh, neither surrounded by ridiculous hype and nonsense ( mostly ).
I love Meddy (since he thrashed Muzza years back), and Rune certainly has some great skill. I am ;
