RPM Blast vs restring zero vs other slick snapback strings

Looks like despite restring zero release fresh rpm blast is still king snapback for me. Restring zero might actually have more maximum snapback but rpm blast is effortless to access it I have to work hard and swing better to get it with zero. Main advantage is zero slickness probably lasts much longer.

Power restring zero is pretty launchy deep and more powerful

Spin huge spin with either, easier with rpm blast

Snapback much more effortless access to snapback with rpm dont need to swing perfectly

Control rpm blast better

Duration of slickness probably zero by a landslide

I'm interested in trying polytour fire... have tried rev in a racquet I don't like solinco blackout so not a good test

I looked at the comparison for both strings you mentioned at Stringpedia, and it is really interesting, higher control level with RPM Blast, but the comfort level looks really interesting for me in the Zero string, besides price point looks better as well in the Restring option, I like the color and as well, for me comfort is a main attribute, it is almost 20% more comfortable.

Gauges RPM Blast 1.25, Restring Zero 1.23
Power: RPM Blast 85 Restring Zero 85
Elasticity: RPM Blast 50 Restring Zero 50
Spin: RPM Blast 95 Restring Zero 95
Control: RPM Blast 100 Restring Zero 85
Tension Holding: RPM Blast 80 Restring Zero 80
Stability: RPM Blast 55 Restring Zero 75
Comfort: RPM Blast 55 Restring Zero 65

Stability means the string feels better for a longer period of time, meaning, if Restring Zero is much more durable, you surely want it to have Stability, and above all, comfort is important for me.

I am late to this party but I found Restring Zero to be the equal of RPM with a noticeably better comfort level.

Plus, I like the color...

Better late than never. Some additional ones to try:
- Restring Sync
- Toroline O-Toro / O-Toro Spin / O-Toro Tour
- Toroline Wasabi / Wasabi-X

Ugh I'm finding the same things as everyone here, but I wish it weren't so.

Zero has the same spin potential. Zero lasts longer, BUT you have no idea how your touch shots will bounce off the strings with Zero. RPM blast is actually extremely predictable around the net, Zero is not. RPM blast also notches and turns into a random-spray rocket launcher after a few hours (especially at 17g), Zero doesn't. Lastly, RPM blast 16g is too stiff for me when hitting hard (serving mostly), whereas Zero strung down at 48 is probably barely soft enough.

Hoping I can hybrid either RPM or Zero with something to get the best of both worlds. Right now, seems like it's always trade-offs.
