I’ve been loving VS Gut 1.30 / Ghostwire 1.27 in my 18x20 speed pro at 55/50 (thanks for folks on here who help me discover that setup!). That said, while I’ve pretty much ruled out full poly, I’m curious to try one more option - RPX 1.35 mains with same cross.
Q: Given I like Gut/Poly at 55/50 what should I tension Multi/Poly at? How much difference Main vs Cross? (I’m thinking 53-55 for mains and 48-50 for cross, say 54/49).
Additional data points:
- If I were doing full bed Poly I’d string 48/46 (but even FireWire boost gives me some connective ti tissue soreness so that’s probably not in my future).
- If I were doing full bed Velocity I would string 55/53 (really didn’t like it at 51/49 - balls were flying).
