TW measures the stiffness of strung racquets.

I don't know whether RSI measures strung or unstrung frames.

It's scary to think that the same model racquet can have differences of 4 points in a flex rating. It might as well be a different racquet.

Scotus, RSI strings their frame with a 16 gauge at mid tension before taking measurements.

I also have an rdc and get a 67 on the prestige pro. Not sure about the mid plus but will check when I get a chance and report back.

Thanks, drakulie. Good to know!

Yep, every racquet is different. But at least two racquets of the same model are almost certain to be less dissimilar to each other than to a third of a different model :)

Drakulie to the rescue!

Thanks, I'm also interested in this.

Hey guys, just did a flex reading on the prestige mid plus in question. Took 6 measurements. 3 with each side of frame. All came out to 62.

BTW, machine was recently calibrated.

Hope this helps.

When getting a few racquets, most of us can measure weight and balance on our own and usually match them.
But with flex, unless we have an RDC, you cannot really tell until stringing them up and hitting with them.
And if they're off 4 points in stiffness, what do you do then? They're used now and you can't return them.

Thanks. That is much more consistent with my experience with this racquet.
