Rubber fitness tube for pre-match warm-up

Anyone use rubber tubes for pre-match warm-up?

...where do you anchor the other end...?

i got the ones with handles on each end. So i anchor with my feet and can do arm curls, shoulder presses, side lateral raises etc.

I got them in 3 different resistance levels too. To curl the heaviest one is about 45 lbs of resistance per side which is very nice for strength training.

You do those specific exercises for your pre-match warm-ups?

yes. Even before practice. 5 min, nothing major. Even get down do some pushups. Just to get the blood flowing. I also use the tubes to do a more complete exercise on off days.

I like using the heavy tube right before a practice or match. Just one set. It makes the racquet feel a lot lighter in my hand when my muscles have a bit of blood in them.
 
oh i've seen this a few times used by a few competitive kids.. they use a fence to anchor the other side.. on a few courts i play on, there's a fence divider that's only like 3 ft tall
