Rublev actual string changed?

Hello together,

In Adelaide rublev gave his raquet to a young fan after his loss against Bautista. It seems like he change from a full bed of adrenaline to another string ? Maybe Someone of you has informations.

You can see a clear picture of the actual string on the instagram of: jxvanperic

Could be lighting. He was using Luxilon Adrenaline and hard to say if it's still the case. Maybe Head Lynx Tour... it looks a little bit goldish on that picture.

Could be the lighting, but the main and cross look very different color-wise.

I use adrenaline 130 as well, the string itself is weird- when you look at the stringbed upright, the main is yellow/light grey while the cross is a lot more darker. But if you look horizontally, the colors will be the opposite.

So I guess it's just the angle.

Thanks for sharing! Awesome to hear it fron Paul. The rumours were there already. At Wimbledon you could see the champagne colour and at Halle the stringer spreadsheet showed 'LYNX' for Rublev. Will be interesting to see if it impacts his game in anyway. Didnt think there was a reason for him to switch.

Not if Grapplesnake Paradox Pro can help it! They think its a round string with more spin potential than some shaped strings thats gonna change the game!

i honestly think rublev’s only qualifier for a string is that it be champagne colored.

I see him with original or alu power 1.30.
Would be also interesting to see him with Delpo string setup I wonder how many hits it could survive haha

i’ve seen him go from adrenaline to lynx tour and now i guess signum pro firestorm if the above is correct. all the same color.

Looks like 4g? Which makes sense considering he used adrenaline for a while. Never understood why bc luxilon’s other offerings are superior, and adrenaline craps out very fast…

looks too yellow imo. looks more like something like the color of dunlop explosive bite. not saying it is that, just saying the color matches up.

i agree. too yellow for 4g/4g soft as well. I think RPM hurricane is this yellow as well as grapplesnake makes a yellow string like this. it’s not at all neon yellow like PTP.

looks a little too neon to me. rpm hurricane looks closer to me. but i will say some of the lights i’ve seen in paris have washed out certain colors so it very well could be, i really don’t know. interested to find out though!

Touche, but regardless playability wise it is not as good as ALU, BBO, and 4G imo...seems like it worked well enough for him to get to 5 in the world though.
